Jacob: -Shrugs- "Sure. Not that you'll need it. If I could complete it with not even a full mono-type team I fail to see how you won't succeed, but best of luck anyways."

Dunescape

-Dune steps on the teleporter as well. He presses the big green button on a console, and the three disappear with a *Shwooooooop!*-

-The three find themselves on a flat platform that looks an awful lot like what the Realgam Arena would look like if all of its viewer seats were blasted into oblivion by lighting and various explosions. Nearby, a certain black-suited mental aspect is being tended to by a certain orange-clad female.-

The Heroine: I told you not to rush him like that!

The Pilot: *Cough* Yeah, yeah...

-On the other side of the arena, two figures are obscured by a huge corona of lightning.-

Kalos League, Flood Chamber

-Ever sends out Cuseinga, while Siebold sends out a Clawitzer-

Cuseinga: <Pfft. Too easy!>

Ever: Thunderbolt!

Siebold: Aura Sphere!

Ever: Say what?

Clawitzer: <Bangarang, motherfucker.>

-and blasts Cuseinga out of the room with a concentrated sphere of Aura, barely seeming to notice the electric strike-

Ever: What...

Siebold: An artist's eye and attention to technique will be key to this battle. My Clawitzer's abilities with moves that harness the pulse are augmented, and so your Heliolisk never really stood a chance.

Ever: (flatly) Wheee. -sends out Ephemera- Thunderbolt.

Siebold: Dark Pulse!

Ever: Whoa wait what?

Clawitzer: <Give me a reaso—>

-thankfully for Ephemera, a dust Dedenne blasts the Clawitzer with a bolt of electricity, knocking it unconscious before the attack can be used-

Ever: I'm going to have to look into this Clawitzer mon.

Dunescape

-Vierr stares at the two lightning-y figures-

Vierr: ...You said there was one. You told me there was only one.

"Thank you!" Sakura then drinks a bit of her soda.

-As Ren readies Castilon◊ as his left eye glows a bright orange.-

Ren: So who's the back up for our Sith Lord?

-Siebold sends out a Starmie-

Ever: Oh, joy...Ephemera, Dark Pulse.

Siebold: Starmie, Thunderbolt!

Starmie: <Everybody do the Elevator!>

-the Starmie proceeds to stand perfectly still as a bolt of lightning leaps from its gem to Ephemera, setting the Meowstic's fur on edge-

Ever: You okay?

-Ephemera nods, and a Yveltal forms above the battlefield, dropping a pulse of obscura onto the Starmie-

Starmie: <Everybody do the ow!>

Siebold: Your Meowstic is unusual.

Ever: We love her anyway. Ephemera, Dark Pulse again!

Ephemera: -Weavile with a Dark Pulse from behind! While Weavile ordinarily can't do much by way of Dark Pulsing, the attack is still Ephemera's, and the Starmie falls on its face-

Jacob: "Just telling the truth. Complicated plans will probably make it less fun, though if you think you need it... I just waltzed in and came up with stuff as I went along. It was fun. But you'll do fine."

-Looks around, then down then sways his head a little to the music he was listening to earlier before returning his gaze back to Sakura-

-Siebold sends out...a Greninja-

Ever: No.

Siebold: Excuse me?

Ever: No, no, fuck your stupid demon frog with a toaster fork! Ephemera, make that useless blob of water and evil regret the day it lost its tail!

-bursts into tears-

Greninja: <I just wanted to feel loved! Ever since day one everyone always hated me because they thought I had Protean, but I don't! I have Torrent! And everyone still thinks I'm overpowered! It's so unfai-ai-aiiiir!> -sob-

Ever: Uh...be gentle, I guess? But do use Thunderbolt I really don't like these frogs.

Ephemera: -rubs her paws together to build up a static charge, and prods the Greninja-

Greninja: <Whyy-y-yyyyyy....>

Ever: I feel like I just kicked a Lillipup...

-The Heroine notices the group and waves to them.-

The Heroine: The other one's not the bad guy!

Dune: Then who is-

-The tower shakes as the corona breaks. On one side is the dark form, clad in black and crimson armor. His face is clouded by a black hood, hiding his eyes and only revealing the dessicated grey skin of his angular lower face.-

???: DAMN you, why won't you die?!

-On the other side, is a man clad in red, blonde hair framing a silver mask. He's down on one knee, obviously winded.-

The Captain: You've done enough damage. And I'm going to pay it back, no matter what.

-He staggers to his feet, and draw a pair of red blades, their edges glowing yellow.-

"Thanks for the vote of confidence, Jacob. And, well, congratulations for beating the league."

Jacob: "Thanks, though it's not even that impressive given how this group runs."

-Joseph has curled up, asleep-

-Ephemera begins charging a Thunderbolt...but the Gyarados plows into her, knocking her out immediately-

Ever: Hmm... -sends out Gattaca- Okay, this shouldn't take much, just use Payback when you get hi—
