-The Meowstic sends out an electric beam, which boosts her special attack-

-The Slowking is struck by the Nails of Vengeance, taking a decent amount of damage-

-She then retaliates with a Hydro Pump-

Florin: Indeed. You're little Sneasel here not only took apart some of our watches and reassembled them into a mechanical spider, but took said spider apart and returned all the watches to their original state...

Florin picks up one of the watches an examines it.

Florin: ...Some in an even better condition than before.

Cleo: -Slinging an arm around Alex- I should introduce you. These two bohemians are Florin and Pierre. They've been making watches since Larry was little and have been good friends of my dad for a long time~

Cleo, meanwhile, makes a small "huh!" sound.

Munn stands, staring at the massive structure.

"Man, hell of a thing."

A man coughs next to him. He turns to see a certain red haired sweeper.

Kaen: "Evening, sir!"

"Evening."

Munn is seized by a sudden impulse.

"You look like you've seen some things, and heard some others. I have a feeling you have a story I need to hear."

The sweeper smiles.

Kaen: "Very good, sir. Very good indeed. Trust your instincts, sir. I can tell you a story, but you need to ask me a question first."

"Hmmm. Alright then, tell me a story about my greatest threat."

The sweeper's smile broadens.

Kaen: "Shrewd. Very well. Let me tell you an old story, a story that was old when the first tale was spun around the first campfire. Let me tell you about The Songbird and The Wolf."

-meanwhile, Kraid holds up a similar stone, and it glows-

-then expands into a cocoon of stone, and a moment later a bigger, spikier Tyranitar emerges-

Grayson: <Holy transformation!>

Kraid: <Hahahaha! Try and stop me now!>

Matthew: Use Rock Slide!

-Kraid picks up a huge boulder, throws it into the air, and then throws a second boulder at it, shattering it into pieces that rain down on the girls' team-

Fortis: Fly out of the way!

Grayson: <Holy flying objects!>

-Grayson flies up into the air, avoiding the rocks-
