Hikari just looks at what Maul is doing with curiosity

-she rests her head on Straw's shoulder as he leaves-

-she goes quiet for a moment, looking conflicted, before speaking again-

-she hesitates, then turns to press her face into his shoulder, holding him tightly-

Connecting Cave, Aka the    Zubat Roost   

-Dune and Deziree enter, and are immediately set upon by Zubat.-

Zubat 1: <Halt! You are not authorized to be in this area!>

Zubat One: <You are not recognized!>

Zubat Uno: <State your name and the name of your hairdresser!>

-The first wave of Zubat are blasted back by a Powdered Snow.-

Dune: Blegh, I hate Zubat. Always yelling in your ear, always using Supersonic, always refusing to go away-

Deziree: Uh, Dune?

Dune: Like that time Garuda ended up falling into that underground river because he got confused by a lucky Confuse Ray-

Deziree: Dune.

Dune: And that time Rill almost brought the cave down on us after ramming into a pillar-

Deziree: Dune!

Dune: What?!

Deziree: That Zubat's green.

-She points through the horde of Zubat towards one at the back, who is indeed a luminescent green as opposed to the standard purple. Dune's breath catches in his throat.-

Dune: ... Holy Arceus that's a shiny.

-Maul glances up at Hikari.-

Maul: ~Putting his mind at ease. It'll hurt. He won't thank me for it. But they'll both be healthier for it, in the end.~

-He traces the line of pink energy to Duke's head.-

-Herbert starts to stir in a place that is most certainly not the spot where he fell unconscious.-

Herbert: ...Wait, this isn't... am I...?

-He curls up more tightly.-

Herbert: No... not this, not now...

Hikari then starts moving the uncounscious bodies.

Herbert might find himself in a corridor of a huge dojo. He might hear someone approaching him from behind.

Maul: ~Allow me.~

-He psionically levitates Herbert and Duke and lies them side by side in Lyuri and Duke's room.-

-Herbert does indeed hear someone coming up behind him and sits up straight, shuffling away from the source of the noise until he hits the wall. His eyes remain tightly shut.-

Herbert: No... no, please don't... I don't know what I did to make you hate me, but I'm sorry, I swear...

Connecting Cave

-Dune sends out Laharl, Flonne, Zeus, and Anja (hey, she needs experience).-

Dune: Take out these Zubat, but keep the green one conscious!

Laharl: <What? What's so special about some Zuba->

-Laharl is interrupted as the green Zubat drops from the ceiling and dives at the Tyrunt, blazing with aerial energy.-

Green Zubat: <You want me?! Then you gotta fight for me! Troops, attack!>

Zubat Swarm: <Yes, commander!>

-Laharl picks himself up as a Flonne and Zeus fight off the swarm of Zubat. Anja is dancing around, taking Supersonics and Confuse Rays.-

Laharl: <Oh, it is on!>

Green Zubat: <Bring it, No Arms!>

Zeus: <HA!>

???

The figure approaches Herbert and reveals himself to be exactly like Duke in human form, the only difference being that he was wearing a blue belt.

"How... How did you get here?" he asked, calmly.

???

-Herbert pulls his legs up against his chest.-

Herbert: I don't know! I think Maul brought me here, but I can't tell, I just came out of my room and suddenly you want to beat me bloody again... please, I'm begging you, don't hurt me, I only ever wanted to help you...

Martin blinked a few times. "Anyways, um..." He handed Jason a flyer for the concert. "It's in a few weeks. You should come by. I'm inviting the whole team."

"Calm down! I'm not going to hurt you." he said, crouching and gently patting Herbert on the head "You can trust me on that."

-Herbert lets out a terrified yell as he is patted on the head.-

Herbert: DON'T TOUCH ME!

-He hyperventilates for a few moments before pulling his legs closer to his chest.-

Herbert: Please, just... just stay away from me, and I promise that I won't do whatever made you hate me again...

Zubat Ichi: <Ma'am, they're too strong! And they're resisting our Wing Attacks, the crutch of our attack strategy!>

Green Zubat: <What?! No one has beaten our patented "Thousand Wings" strate- GAH!>

-Laharl strikes the Zubat with a Dragon Claw.-

Laharl: <Pay attention when someone's kicking your ass!>

-Zeus and Flonne, meanwhile, are firing off Discharges left and right.-

Flonne: <You get a lightning bolt! And you get a lightning bolt!>

Zeus: <EVERYBODY GETS A LIGHTNING BOLT!>

-Herbert's breathing slowly starts to return to something nearing its original speed.-

Herbert: Then... then why would you try to... I don't want to have to go through that again, I can't go through that again...

-Herbert doesn't look particularly comforted by what he is told, but nevertheless he swallows deeply and seems to force himself to regain some measure of composure.-

Herbert: ...What's going on? Where am I? And don't tell me that I'm where I think I am, please...

Oh, um... Well, I'll admit that some of what I write may be how I wish things were in some aspects, but it doesn't mean that I want to control my friends or anything...

Aigla: <When I want to control others, I use my hypnotic powers.>

Franklin: (looks up at Aigla) <Well, I suppose that works on those who don't have as strong a willpower as I do.>

Aigla: (turns around and gazes into Franklin's eyes, her own eyes glowing) <Go bring me some syrup.>

Franklin: (nods) <Okay!> (runs off)

-Herbert is silent for a long while. When he does speak up again, his voice is trembling.-

Herbert: ...I've had enough of these damned places... they're the graves where everything we'd rather keep under wraps is buried, and all they ever lead to is more pain, more problems...

-He looks back up at the blue-belted figure, still pale and shivering but with a determined glint in his eye.-

Herbert: I'm getting out of here. Whether or not you choose to help me is up to you. Where's the way out, and what kind of horrible experience do I have to go through to reach it?

"This dojo is pretty big and you can easily get lost here, other than that it's a pretty relaxed place usually." said the aspect "Anyway... I guess it's time for me to introduce myself. I'm Loyalty. I represent Duke's loyalty to his friends as well as his devotions to his beliefs."

He then gives a rather pained sigh

"... As you can guess, I'm just as happy about what's been going on as you."
