-walks up to the man drawing on his canvas-

Excuse me, sir? I was wondering what it was you were drawing.

Easel Man: Huh? Oh, hello little lady. You from Hoenn?

-nods- Yeah, I'm from Hoenn.

EM: That's cool. Those your friends over there? -points to the group-

Yessir.

EM: -continues to make small-talk, forgetting Jane's original question-

Lake: <Mmm. These windmills remind me of all the wind turbines they had back in New Bark Town.>

-Lake pauses, then looks around.-

Lake: <Hey...Where did Luke go?>

-Nearby.-

Reshiram: <I'm not sure I want to do this Luke.>

Hey, it worked fine back in Unova, didn't it? Besides, I don't want to leave you by yourself.

Reshiram: <(Sigh) Okay then.>

-Reshiram covers herself up with that sheet with the eye holes we made back in Unova.-

There you go! That's not too bad, is it?

Reshiram: <...No, I guess not.>

Raikou: -Walks over.- <Nya, what are you- AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!! GHOST!!!>

-Raikou runs away, screeching.-

Reshiram: -Sweatdrops.-

-hides a laugh behind a hand then goes to check out the windmills-

You didn't answer my friend's question.

Raikou: <GHOST! GHOST! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!>

-Raikou rushes by Lake, who watched the legendary, confused.-

Lake: <...Ghost?>

-Then, me and Reshiram show up.-

Raikou! Come back! It's not a ghost!

Reshiram: <Yeah, it's only me!>

Lake: <Oh. That explains it.>

EM: Hm? What was the question?

What are you drawing?

EM: Oh! Yeah. Well, see, I draw people. Mostly the people that walk across the street; I especially look out for the people who have pokemon out of their pokeballs... -glances up at Cassandra-

I see.

-Has his hands in his pockets-

-having explained to Windu and Qui-Gon what windmills are, we wander over to the artist as well, me taking Qui-Gon off my shoulder and holding him so he doesn't fall while trying to look at the EM's pictures-

- Wolf-in-Anom and I take our time while crossing bridge, partially because I wanted to watch the view of the ocean from there, and partially because I wanted to buy myself a little more time with him before catching up with the others -

(thinking) I think Wolf and I both feel much better now that we've gotten to have a moment to ourselves. Now that I've got that out of my system for now, I'd like to think of something to do for Anom and the others...

- Looks around as we arrive in Tilt village, we quietly head back over to the group without drawing their attention -

EM: If you want I could draw you and your friends. It only costs 200 [Currency].

Uh... -shares eye contact with Froslass, then looks at some of his drawings. Turns out, they're fairly realistic-

I guess so...

I gotta go. Get ready for lacrosse and all that. Be back... eh, around 8:30 eastern time.

Sure, Why Not? I need a distraction anyway.

Lake: <I hope no-one saw Raikou just now.>

It's okay, I think he was going too fast for anyone to see anyway.

Reshiram: <How are you going to get him to come back?>

Hmm...Wait here, I'll be back.

-I leave to go and find something.-

Reshiram: <What do you think he's got planned?>

Lake: <I don't know, but it probably involves pop tarts.>

Reshiram: <Oh, Of course! It's so obvious.>

-Jane sits down on a stool, while Cassandra floats above her head regally-

EM: Alright, this'll only take a couple o' minutes.

-Watches Jane get her portrait taken, glad to have a distraction from his issues-

-A few minutes later, I've built a pile of boxes of pop tarts just outside the village.-

I'm surprised at how many different kinds of pop tarts there are here. Back in Johto, you can only get them in Strawberry flavour.

Reshiram: -Picks up a box.- <Blueberry? Never seen this kind before.>

Lake: <Ooh! These ones are grape flavoured!>

Heh, don't you guys start. Now, hopefully this should lure a certain legendary beast back to-

-I'm interrupted by a yellow and black blur dashing past and jumping into the pile of boxes.-

Raikou: <POP TARTS!!!>

Lake: <Heh. That worked well.>

Reshiram: <No kidding.>

-about three minutes later-

EM: Alright, all done. Here you go ma'am. -hands Jane her portrait of her and her Froslass. It's pretty nice-

Thank you!

EM: Another 100 and I could color it a little.

Oh, no thanks. I want to see if any of my other friends want to give it a try.

I guess I could do it next.

-Releases Vanilluxe and takes a seat-

EM: Thank you for your business sir. I don't think I've ever seen a pokemon like yours before. What's it called?

He's a Vanilluxe, the Snowstorm Pokemon, from the Unova region.

Vanilluxe: <Hi!>

EM: Ah. Well then, Vanilluxe, would you mind not moving around so much? It's hard to draw a moving subject.

Vanilluxe, you're going to have to stay still.

Vanilluxe: <Got it Tagg.>

-Stops moving around and floats at my right side-

-two minutes later-

EM: Alright, thanks you two. Here you go. -hands Tagg his portrait. He seems to have caught the exact point where Vanilluxe's smoke is floating about his head-

I'm starting to think I ought to add The Faceless to my section of the Characters page.

-Looks at the portrait-

Apart from the fact that Vanilluxe's mist was obscuring my face it looks pretty good. Thank you sir.
