Jason grinned, just as Loki was hit. However, he didnt seem to take much damage. The Pokemon opened its mouth to let its long tongue flop out, upon which sat a Colbur Berry. Loki swallowed it in one gulp before it faced the Kricketune, its gaseous body almost directly in front of its opponents.

"Now Loki, hit it with a point-blank range Will-o-Wisp! Lets see you dodge this!" Loki grinned, just as it let loose a spray of strangely coloured flames right at its opponent's face.

Phenac City

- Blinks -

S-Sorry, I just... I know you're frustrated with Crow for not thinking things through, and you have every right to be.

- Carefully moves a little closer -

Anything I can do to make you feel a little better?

-Crow just stands there as Crewe, DS, and Straw leave-

-He hears Tagg come but doesn't directly acknowledge him-

Crow: "...I was stupid."

"I tried figuring out what the best way to proceed with Crewe was, but apparently that only made things worse..."

"But yet, I'm not sure any other route I could have taken would have made things any easier..."

-Emilie winces as she is burned-

Herbert: Ah, right. You should probably give that Noctowl back to Crewe once she's purified, then. As for Epsilon... maybe we could send her back to Challenger's Cave or something, to stay with the rest of my team?

-Shadow is web surfing on Forte's laptop; he was looking for StellarCreation strategies, but happened to stumble upon a particular fanfic site-

Jason chuckled again,

"Protect, then Confuse Ray!" Once again, Loki waited until the Kricketune was right in front of its face before erecting its protective wall. As soon as the attack impacted with the barrier, the Pokemon set off its Confuse Ray towards its opponent. Jason loved his strategies. Loki was a great close-quarters combatant, despite his Ghost Typing.

Kinda sucks that Cipher blew up Titan's lab while we were distracted.

Sparkers thinks for a second. He then looks up at Kyrie.

...you know what, I hope that too. Not enough to actually stop killing people, but yeah, fighting with you would be nice.

Jason cheered on his Pokemon.

"Yes, Loki! You the man! Now, finish it off with Hex!" The Haunter set off its eerie wave towards its opponent, the purple energy imbued with dark magic. Jason grinned once again; Hex's power doubled when the opponent carries a status condition!

Crow: "Yeah..."

"...As weird as it is, that was probably the best time I've had since we got here, and it probably messed everything up..."
