Herbert: Go as whatever you like. Money's no object, and I'm interested in seeing what you end up picking. I'm sure we can throw in a pirate costume for Cynthia as well. After all, some of my mons decided to play dress-up as well.

-A black-and-gold painted Bisharp pops up from behind Carol.-

Falchion: <Hi.>

SI: Oh? A pleasure to meet you then, Marceline.

SI: You evidently already know who I am, so I suppose we can get straight to business.

SI: Herbert has already outlined the basics of his and Psyche's plan to me. I cannot say that I approve, but I am willing to help see it through to its conclusion.

SI: Was there anything in particular you wanted me to pass on to Herbert?

Titan's Lab

Crow: "Yeah, same. Kinda surprised I got it, actually..."

"Anyway... Turns out she used to be a former Pokemon Ranger and friend of Straw's named Taylor who faked her death."

"She apparently also used to have a Weavile. Don't know what's up with that, but apparently she wasn't quite fond of Siren's change of loyalties."

-She does not see the smoke, but does barely smell it-

-She sends out Avada-

Sarah: I'm gonna go see what's happening. If it's bad, teleport all of us out.

-She opens the door and cautiously heads downstairs-

-Sandy slooooowly leans into the doorway of the kitchen, unsure if she wants to know what's happening.-

-Falchion blinks at Cynthia.-

Falchion: <...I'm still in costume. Take three guesses. Hint: your trainer just mentioned him.>

-He looks back up at Carol.-

Falchion: <Yeah, that's me. Edge is still hanging around, by the way. He got himself a new trainer a while back. I'm sure he'd be glad to know you're around, though, since he still hasn't stopped pushing for you and Herbert to get together.>

Herbert: Aaaaand I think I'm just going to leave the room before Falchion can pursue that line of conversation any further.

-He starts heading outside, pretty much ignoring the smoke.-

Titan's Lab

-Titan starts making his own annotations to Siren's file.-

Titan: Interesting... hardly information that could be held against her, however. Her position is still stable enough that a background of virtue is hardly enough to discredit her.

SI: Good to know, I suppose.

SI: Did the two of them have any particular plans regarding when exactly they would go ahead with their plan?

-Crewe has successfully found a teleporting mon to borrow and sent herself here, crouched atop the building across from the Center, peering inside with narrowed eyes. As Herbert leaves the Center, she drops down in front of him, her cloak flaring out suitably dramatically behind her. She eyes him coldly-

... Herbert.

Upon getting there Sarah would find out that apparently someone left something on the oven for a bit too long.

Sandy: ... I think someone forgot to set their timer.

Titan's Lab

Crow: "I suppose so..."

"As for other info, I went to R&D and though I didn't get much of a chance to talk to Sunsun, I did find out that apparently one of his friends within the department was murdered."

Pyrite Center Kitchen

-Sarah sweatdrops-

Sarah: Yeah...

-She quickly turns the oven off, and grabs a fire extinguisher in case there are actual flames-

-Herbert, almost used to Crewe jumping out at him by this point, only takes a single step backwards upon her landing in front of him, though he is rather unnerved by her sudden coldness.-

Herbert: Uh... hey again, Crewe. Neat entrance. So, erm... what happened to the rest of your costume?

Titan's Lab

-Titan looks up, now apparently much more interested.-

Titan: Murdered? Were you able to get any information on the identity of the victim, and if so, what the circumstances of their death were?

-He narrows his eyes.-

Titan: ...And who is Sunsun, exactly?

SI: I see. I hope everything goes well for the two of them, then...

SI: Anyway, if that is all, then I should probably be signing off.

SI: Goodnight, Marceline.

Got rid of it. Don't need it to scare people.

-she steps forward closer to Herbert, raising one hand with Obscura rapidly covering and expanding over it to form claws-

As Sarah turns the oven off suddenly Lyuri bolts into the kitchen.

"Oh crap, I totally forgot about this!" said Lyuri, facepalming.

Sandy: I can't help but think that a certain voice is dieing to be heard right now.

-Champool is screaming into his pillow in frustration.-

"I just had to get distracted and hey!" said Lyuri, looking at Sarah "... Did you become a girl again for no reason?" she asked, then turning to Sandy "... And who are you?"

Sandy: You probably know me as Dune... I, uh, kinda got amulet'd, too. Call me Sandy, I guess.

Sarah: I, um, kinda did have a reason. I couldn't think of a good Halloween costume as a guy, so I opted to use a girl one instead.

Pyrite Town

-Herbert backs away from Crewe until he hits the wall of the Center, his own cloud of Obscuric darkness fading.-

Herbert: ...Remember, no matter how friendly she was earlier, she's still a Shadow. One that won't kill me, but certainly doesn't have any qualms about hurting me. She still thinks that we're the ones who wiped her memory, who... wait... okay, as helpful as Bishop's advice was, I get the feeling I'm going to learn a lot more during the next few minutes. I'll play along, and hopefully I can fit this all into the plan...

-He gives an only half-exaggerated gulp.-

Herbert: Yeah, kind of... I mean, you've promised not to kill me, but clearly you're still angry... not that I can blame you for it, since you've got a good reason to be...
