Herbert: No, I haven't... I haven't even seen him. I ran into the bastard who snagged him, but he denied all knowledge. Like I said earlier, I almost want to see him Shadowed, just so I know that we've got a chance of saving him... but I can't let myself think about stuff like that. We'll get him back eventually... we'll get them all back.

-He turns back to Daisy.-

Herbert: Alright then, let me try.

-He clips a Quick Ball into his Snag Machine, and launches it at the Eevee.-

-Bishop turns to Neptune.-

Bishop: <Not as such, no. I was thinking that we could all begin with introductions, but seeing as Shadow Pokemon lose their memories, it seems rather pointless.>

-Kerrigan just glares at the other Pokemon in the room menacingly, whilst Revan floats in the corner, content to just listen.-

Herbert: Yeah, Regina's the obvious one. Duke's already proven himself to be pretty tricky as well... Crewe and Diane might also give us some trouble, seeing as they spend a lot of time as humans. I'm not sure what we can do to improve our chances, though...

-He picks the Quick Ball up off of the ground, and hands it to Daisy.-

Bishop: <...There is a food trolley in the corner, if you're feeling peckish. And if we are going ahead with introductions, then my name is Bishop. I was a Shadow Pokemon for a period of time that I estimate to be about five years long, and was purified about nine months ago.>

Revan: <My name's Revan, and I->

Bishop: <Please don't derail the conversation, Revan.>

-Kerrigan remains silent. Bishop looks around the room, wincing sympathetically upon hearing Doc's story.-

Bishop: <I take it everyone would like me to explain what the terms "Shadow Pokemon" and "purified" mean?>

I would rather avoid discussing exactly what the process entails, but it prevents you from remembering anything that occurred prior to it, and corrupts your mental state so that you are more aggressive and destructive. To put it simply, none of you are in your normal state of mind right now. Is that understood so far?>

Kerrigan: <...Yes.>

Bishop: <Well, that's a start, at least.>

Bishop: <...That is one way of putting it, yes. But there is a way to determine which of those boxes do in fact contain junk. It is known as purification. It is not something that happens instantly, however. Before it can occur, your trainers have to lower your Shadow gauge. They can do this by showing you affection, giving you massages, allowing you to battle, simply walking around with you, and so on and so forth. The process can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, but once it is complete, you can be brought to either the Relic Stone or the Purification Chamber and purified for good. At that point, you will regain all of your lost memories and return to your old self. That is hardly a comprehensive explanation, but hopefully it should suffice.>

Bishop: <Hmm?>

Kerrigan: <Why purify...? Making whole hurts... mind better... broken...>
