Pi spots Straw clashing with Jet.

He turns back, and dives for him.

He flies by, attempting to hit Jet in the head as he passes.

-Amanita has bandaged herself, as has Brie, and the two are now watching the battle. Amanita has removed a Poison Barb from her backpack, and is using it as a makeshift knife-

-Every, unsure what do do, simply begins flailing at Tagg. There is no particular style, simply aiming to connect as much as possible-

-Jet is knocked backwards by Pi, while Straw successfully snags Jet's Scyther-

-Suddenly a Very loud explosion is heard as a Black winged Pokemon swoops in, grabs Jet, and emits another boom, throwing Straw and everyone else near him down. They take off-

-Elise fights her way through the Peons, freezing those who get in her way-

Psyche's mindscape

Psyche staggers into the darker aspects of her mind again.

A previously unseen aspect steps out of the shadows, cloaked in shadows, eyes gouged out.

Fatalism: "Well, I knew you'd come crawling back to me. It was inevitable."

Psyche sits and clutches her head. "Stop... I locked you away. You and that other one."

Another aspect walks out, cloaked in light, eyes closed.

Nihilism: "But I'm still here. Not that it matters. You came back for a reason. Are you finally ready to admit we were right?"

Psyche shakes her head. "NO! You're wrong, all of you! I am stronger than you!"

A third figure steps out, this one pale and draped in a funeral shroud.

Despair: "I see you've made more mistakes. Maybe you should have-"

Psyche bashes her head against the wall. "NO NO NONONONONO YOU ARE ALL WRONG. I CAN DO BETTER THAN ALL OF YOU."

Fatalism clasps a bony hand upon her shoulder. "But, dearie, you can't. This is your life now. Even if you do manage to take down Cipher, which you can't, what's left? A life of criminality, just like you used to live. Your friends will never trust you again, and especially not that boy..."

Psyche slaps her. "NO. I refuse to believe your lies!"

Nihilism strokes Psyche's head. "Indeed... Trust is such a strange thing, anyway. Nothing to truly hang on to. And why should you care anyway? You are the only one who can truly give meaning to your life, and you are doing such a MARVELOUS job with that."

Psyche rocks on the ground. "No... You're wrong..."

Despair touches a finger to her forehead. "Dearie, you know we're right. You know it in your heart of hearts. Just accept it, and you won't have to live this pitiful life anymore."

The Under - subway battlefront

Miles had let out his Exeggcute, Sown to take part in the battle by spreading Sleep Powder. They also learned Confusion from watching the experts Duel each other, but status was proving more useful for now.

Recoiling from the blast, Pi and Co. soon recover.

"Motherfucker. FUCK IT, KILL THE BITCH!"

He turns again and charges the tower on Barsamin's back.

-Mezzo's group continues forward through the tunnels, and Forte spots the plushie sitting on the floor in front of them-

Forte: Huh? How'd that thing get there?

Shadow: <Make that damn thing go away...>

Herbert: ...Why would I even want to snag any of his other Pokemon? They're not Shadows. Ah well, now that he's gone, might as well get back to collecting Pokeballs, then...
