-Duolis is here, sobbing uncontrollably, Oldur nuzzling and purring at her in a desperate attempt to calm her down-

-A black-cloaked figure approaches and places a hand on her shoulder-

-She turns, and the figure removes its hood to reveal Umbra-

Duolis: JOSEPH!

-She embraces him, and he does so back-

Oh Joseph everyone thinks you’re dead and I lost all hope but now we can-

Umbra: Duolis… I have to leave.

Duolis: What?!

-Umbra’s mons then enter the picture, looking on sadly-

Umbra: Being defeated by that Arcanine made me realize what a monster I’d become. I’ve killed so many people… Ruined the lives of so many others… I can’t risk hurting anyone else.

-Tears start falling down his face-

Duolis: I… I see…

Umbra: I’m going far away… To a place where I’m sure never to bring harm to anyone ever again.

-She looks into his eyes-

-She moves over to Duolis’ side and joins Oldur. Duolis goes up to Umbra and strokes his hair -

-They kiss. Then, Umbra replaces his hood and walks away, his mons in tow-

-Duolis watches them go with tears streaming down her face-

-Inside her, something small and growing that's been there a while stirs-
