- Turns to see... A larger than normal Vulpix. -

Vulpix: <Hi! Are you new friends?>

Issun: <Careful, Ammy! It's probably a [monster] trying to trick us!>

Ammy: -sniffs- <I know the smell of monsters. She doesn't have it.>

-Goes over to the Vulpix-

<Hey, there, miss Vulpix! What's your name? And what are you doing on a monster-filled island like this?>

Vulpix: <My name's Rosa! And mommy and daddy won't let me leave...>

Ammy: <Your parents sound kinda mean...>

Rosa: <They are! Sometimes I wish they would just go away... But what I want even more is peoplemons to play with!>

Ammy: <Well, you just wait a bit. There's a really mean monster we have to get rid of, and once we do that we'll find you and play with you! OK?>

Rosa: <Okay, miss...>

Ammy: <Ammy. And these are Issun and Tagg and Herbert.>

Rosa: <Okay! You guys are the best!>

-She ascends to the summit, leaving Rosa to bat at some rocks.-

I think that's the biggest Vulpix I've ever seen. Luckily she doesn't seem to take after who I think her mother is.

Herbert: Arceus, are we making a point of befriending every stray animal in Ransei? Don't tell me we're going to end up feeding that Vulpix, because I don't think we have the spare food necessary to sate the appetite of something that big.
