-Slant shuffles up to the podium and clears his throat.-
Mr. Slant: I will begin by stating the facts as they occurred. My client was in Challenger's Cave when he was confronted by Mr. Iridis. Fearing for his safety, my client sent out his team of Pokemon, only to have them defeated by the defendant's own team - using overly excessive force, if my client's account is to be believed. With his team fainted and being threatened by the defendant's Pokemon, my client drew his knife in self-defense, only to be disarmed and brutally beaten by Mr. Iridis. My client's survival was mainly due to the timely intervention of a pair of Pokemon belonging to a friend of his. Does the defense deny any part of this account?
