-Herbert hurls Falchion's Ultra Ball at Drayden, but the Pawniard emerges mid-flight looking distinctly bored.-

Herbert: Falchion, Night Slash! Tear that Haxorus to shreds!

Falchion: <Geez, Lucius. Who pissed in your coffee this->

Herbert: DO IT, YOU IMPERTINENT LITTLE SHIT!

-Falchion withdraws in fear, and attempts to swing at the Haxorus with a dull claw.-

The Haxorus quickly dodges the Night Slash and just waits for Drayden's next command

Drayden rises an eyebrow at Herbert's outburst, but keeps himself calm "I'd recommend that you calmed yourself down, you're not going to do yourself any good like this." he commented, then looking at his Haxorus "Dragon Dance and X-Scissor, let's end this."

The Haxorus nods and grins, giving another roar that might have been even more fierce than before and tries to slash Falchion with his claws

"<Hm? I thought you were Jacob's best Pokémon, why is he ditching you like that?>" asked Seth, to Regina

"Yes, I'm an Auric, Lyuri is one too, but she must've not noticed, so, you're one of those rare Obscura users huh?" asked Duke.

"That's good to know, I'm sure Ammy will show up sooner or later." said Sakura, with a smile.

| A teenager, around 16 years old, wanders in and slumps into a chair at the Litwick's table. On his shoulder rides an abnormally small Darumaka.

| He sighs.

-Falchion is easily thrown away, and crashes against the wall of the gym with a loud THUD.-

Herbert: NO!

Herbert: No...

-He drops to his knees, clutching his head in his hands and closing his eyes.-

???: Is there even any point in continuing? You lose every battle. Ruin every friendship. Betray every principle. Even a minor defeat like this one leaves you broken. Why did you even bother going on this journey at all? You're a failure, Lucius. Nothing more than a pathetic, moronic little kid who relies on others to sort out all your problems. It should have been you who died in those labs. Nobody would have missed you.

???: Aside from the fact that it's fun? Because you're fragile, Lucius. Because all it takes is one little shove to push you over the edge. Because your every loss...
