Herbert: I'm never going to hear the end of this, am I? At least I can take some measure of consolation in the fact that I probably look better in a dress than Lyuri does. And hey, I can pull the lovebirds card on them as well. That should get her riled enough to forget my little escapade yesterday. For a while, anyway.

Arika: -pulls out a ball- I just have to have you on my team!

Frillish: <A recruitment? Intriguing... Tell me, what would my moniker be?

Arika: Squishy!

Frillish: <Hmm... Would I be referred to as Sir Squishy?>

Squishy: <Very well then, I accept!>

-Arika tosses the ball, and Squishy is sucked in-

Nathan expressed surprise when the girl merely touched the fish with a ball and it effortlessly set in it.

Nathan: "Oh come on, she can do that, but I almost get maimed trying?"

"I wouldn't say that if I was you." said Sakura, giggling a bit.

Lentimas Pokémon Center

After a while Lyuri comes out of her room in a new dress◊ and carrying a small bag with her

"What do you think?" asked Lyuri, rather embarrassed "I also forgot to deliver that to Sakura earlier, oops." she added, showing the bag with the clothes she was going to give Sakura

"You look great, Lyuri, don't worry about it." said Duke, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Thanks, Duke, your opinion is the one that matters th emost to me right now." she said, then looking at her X-Transceiver and noticing something in it "Huh, Sakura sent me something..."

Lyuri then sees the text with the photo in it alongside Duke.

"... Pfff, AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" both broke down in laughter, though Duke was a bit more quieter about it than Lyuri was, but he was enjoying the picture just as much as her.

Treeo: <So, what happened then? Why didn't you end up joining the Dream Guard?>

Comet: <I came close. Real close. Got to my final exam, in fact.>

Enzo: <Heh. Even back then, Kindle was such a skilled Dreamweaver that she aced those tests.>

Unite: <Wait a minute!>

Unite gave Enzo a accusing look.

<How come you haven't been doing any of this Dreamweaving hocus-pocus? Could have saved yourself a lot of effort!>

The Garchomp glanced down, gazing into his alcohol with an embarrassed look on his face.

Enzo: <Well, truth is? I can't Dreamweave to save my life. I swear, once I tried to make myself a glass of water, which I did...>

Woolly: <Huh. What's so bad about that?>

Enzo: <The water was on fire.>

Woolly: <...Ooooh.>

Enzo: <Yeah. That's why I leave all the Dreamweaving to Asher and Kindle.>

Comet: <Right. Now, as I was saying. I got all the way up to my final exam. It was all I had to get through in order to earn a position on the Dream Guard. But...>

Stratus: <Something went wrong?>

Comet nodded, sadly.

Herbert: I would say the same of you, Sarah, but you'd find some way to use that statement against me. And funnily enough, I find the mental image of Lyuri in a dress to be even more improbable than that of me in a dress.

"Well, Lyuri does have a dislike of dresses and..."

"H-Hey."

Lyuri and Duke then approached the group, having just gotten out of the Pokémon Center, Lyuri was seemingly rather nervous though the picture still had her look rather amused just by looking at Herbert

"U-Uh... What do you think of this new style?" asked Lyuri, embarrassed.

Sakura giggles a bit "I'm guessing the date ended well? You look really good in that dress, sis." she said, smiling.

"Hello everyone." said Duke, with a smile.

-Herbert is interrupted by Lyuri's awkward introduction, and looks over at her and Duke. He is visibly torn between his urge to awkwardly stare at Lyuri or tease her instead, and so attempts to do both at the same time.-

Herbert: ...I stand corrected. What's with you and all the fancy outfits recently? I'm half expecting you to go modelling with Elesa one of these days now.

-He then glares at Jacob.-

Herbert: Did someone piss in your tea this morning or something?

"You're one to talk, Princess Luciana." said Lyuri, with a smirk as she looked at Herbert, then glancing at Jacob "Seems like somebody is having a bad day."

"Hi Jacob, I see that you've been working on training your team." said Duke, glancing at the evolved P-1.

"So, sis, is that going to be an one time thing or is that what you're going to start wearing now?" asked Sakura, giggling a small bit

"The latter, I'm still not too fond of dresses, but I guess I can grow out of it if it makes me look good, though I shouldn't wear this when I go back to the Aura training." said Lyuri, with a chuckle.

Undella Town

Nathan: "Guys, if you wanna look around, go ahead."

Sophia: <Really?>

Anita: <Well in that case, see ya later!>

Anita scooted away to start her curious inspecting of the place.

Sophia: <Are you sure?>

Nathan: "Yeah, I'm sure. holler me if you see others."

She nodded and also walked away to explore.

-Herbert goes red again, and turns to talk to Duke instead.-

Herbert: That reminds me, Duke, we really need to get back to training at some point. I was going to practice sparring with Sam at some point, but that's evidently not going to happen. And I need to learn how to use Foresight if I'm going to beat Edge.

-Meanwhile, Falchion has let himself out of his ball, and stares at Cass and P-1 in disbelief.-

Falchion: <Wait a minute... Backbiter? P-1? When did you two evolve?>

Jacob: -To Herbert- "No."

-To Lyuri- "Did I ask for your comments? If you have nothing useful to say, don't say anything at all. Better yet, never say anything at all."

-To Duke- "Yeah. I haven't evolved Voidstar, but that's because I don't know how. He's already powerful, I just rarely use him."

P-1: -To Cass- <It wasn't luck, sir! It was trial and error!>

-To Falchion- <Yesterday, sir!>

Zap had gotten himself lost in the area and stays next to the inn

"<Man, how did I get myself into this mess? Lyuri is never going to let me hear the end of it, neither is Duke.>" he said, with a sigh.

"I didn't ask for yours either, you just came out of nowhere talking, you're the last person I need to talk about fashion, jerk." said Lyuri, starting to get annoyed at Jacob

"Foresight huh? That's actually easier than learning Force Palm, again, we just need to decide a day and we can do it whenever you want." said Duke, in response to Herbert.

"My, we have a lot of members of the Pawniard family here I see." commented Sakura, giggling

Aurora:<I bet you want to go in there. I don't think we went there when we first got here.>

-Herbert raises an eyebrow at Jacob, and attempts to read his Aura more closely.-

Herbert: You know, all you need to evolve a Sneasel is a Razor Claw. Ripley evolved just last night. And if you're going to talk back to Lyuri, at least try to make your insults witty. It's no fun otherwise.

-He looks back at Duke.-

Herbert: Right, maybe today or tomorrow. I can't do anything over the weekend, though. It's Alice's birthday, so I'll most likely be going on a day trip back to Sinnoh with her. But I'd like to do the sparring, as well. I think I've got something figured out.

-Falchion continues to stare at the Bisharp with an unbelieving look, feeling very small.-

Falchion: <At ease, P-1. You two are lucky in that you got competent trainers, as opposed to the sniveling rag that I'm serving under.>

Jacob: "I wasn't being sarcastic. You actually look good in that. I just don't think it fits your personality. And I know I look really out of place. But this is not the point."

-To Herbert- "And I stopped taking anything you said seriously the moment I saw you in a dress."

If possible, ignore Jacob for the next half hour. Will be back later.

Goggles: (building a sandcastle) <Hmm... It hasn't caught on fire yet, that's a good sign!>

Nathan: "Now I could go get restocked."

Before that, he went to the beach side, only a boy with her Espeon sitting there. Listening to the waves had a surprisingly calming effect on him, he hadn't had a moment to relax for a long time, so he took it easy for a moment.

Hearing somethin other than the commotion of the cities or the angry sounds of pokemon was... nice.
