Looks like Ridge Racer wants to be more like Burnout.

The interesting thing is that it's being developed by Bugbear, who did Flat Out.

So Namco's outsourcing development? If they outsource the soundtrack too, I'm gonna be a little upset.

Did they not learn from last year when all of their western-developed games and Revivals hit the bargain bin in less than a month?

Hint, Scamco: I already own Hot Pursuit and I can get the entire Burnout series for 30 bucks.

Er, are you saying Ridge Racer hasn't been hitting the bargain bins a month after release anyway?

I have to agree with Don, I can easily get Burnout: Paradise on Steam, I think. Hell, I already have Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, which is essentially "Hot Pursuit 2 meets Burnout: Paradise."

FUCK YES. So buyin this, if it's the closest we'll get to Flatout3.

This is...okay, I can forsee that this is a Shadow The Hedgehog moment in making. I'm not hating on the Sonic franchise in any way, but what I mean is that this will appear, it will have features that clash with all the previous installments in the franchise, it won't do half as well as previous installments and then it will hang over our heads uneasily until Fan Backlash finally forces Namco to forget the whole game happened.

So in other words it'll suck? Cuz I'm pretty sure Shadow The Hedgehog sucked in every respect, not least because it is an entire game about Shadow The Hedgehog.

Screw you, Shadow was an awesome game.

Eh, if you say so. I only played the demo, but that sucked so I never bothered with the game. Plus I like to pretend that most of the Sonic supporting cast doesn't actually exist. But I fear I'm getting off topic :P
