This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Dr. Strange is the first we know of.
Plus Axel Alonso seems very anti-reboot so I doubt we'll get one while he's EIC.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Is it really a reboot if its in universe retcon?
Dan Slott's Twitter is apparently decked out with Peter/MJ pictures. If he's really on board with this (and you never can be too sure with him) I'm going to buy him ALL THE BEER.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."It's an alternate universe. All these teasers are likely for alternate universes, which will be seen during the big Secret Wars event. My guess is we'll get one-shots exploring each universe over the course of the year. Some of the universes may play a larger or smaller role in the event itself.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics. The cynic in me says that this won't undo OMD. I'm interested in Linkara's reaction.
Alternate universe were OMD didn't happen huh? :p
Who knows*shrugs*
yeah at first i thought it was mc2 but that peter's dead and the mayday is too young.
And the Peter seen there doesn't have MC 2's graying hair or Stark 'stach either.
If this is sincere it's great, but I have a concern. Which is, what's to stop the EIC twenty years from now from saying he wants the retcon re-retconned? And then the EIC 40 years from now from retconning that? Will we be playing retcon Pong with Peter's marriage forever? Because that would kinda suck.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Actually, that would be pretty amazing if it happened really, really frequently. Peter would be all like, "Ugh, am I married to MJ this week or not?"
I've got fanfics for Frozen, Spectacular Spider-Man, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro the Dragon.(incoherent, joyful gibberish)
No, no. I have to remain cold and logical. Quesada's still with Marvel, so it's gotta be some sort of trick. An alternate universe, or a What If, or Mephisto screwing with Peter's head. We all know that Spider-Man is contractually obligated to never have anything good in his life for more than ten seconds.
No, stop giving me reasons to be excited! It'll only hurt that much more when it inevitably turns out to be some sort of cruel joke on the fans.

Quesada was Kicked Upstairs, though. I believe his new position deals mostly with adaptations. At the very least, he didn't seem to object when other controversial changes he implemented, such as Carlie Cooper and M-Day, were thrown out.

The marriage will be restored, but Mary Jane will be twisted into a hateful harpy who will make Peter's life miserable, so that clause still applies, and just so Quesada can brag on being right about undoing the marriage in the first place.
And not just a metaphorical one either. MODOK will swoop in and turn MJ into a big green fricking harpy like he did to Betty in the Silver Age and then Spidey can spend the next 3 years angsting over his monster-wife while the horribly decompressed storyline doesn't go anywhere until the new writer comes in and sweeps it all under the rug like nothing ever happened.
Doctor Who — Long Way Around: https://www.fanfiction.net/s/13536044/1/Doctor-Who-Long-Way-AroundAnd Greg Land will draw.
and it will still be written by slott
Rather, it'll be written by Slot...machine.
Where they'll decide every story by pulling a lever, pushing buttons, and hoping that the plot elements line up in the best possible way.
I'm a fan of Slott, and as a fan I must say he's been kind of a pillock recently.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."cant be worse than mid-superior to now
I suspect Peter's had more memorably-bad runs than most Marvel characters because both authors and fans project themselves onto him. Authors sometimes use him as a self-insert, whereas fans see slights to him as slights to themselves because he's the "everyman."
Thoughts?

Nahhh, it'll mark Chuck Austen's triumphant return to comics instead.
Slott is the definitive Trolling Creator so I would take everything he posts with a grain of salt.

The new Sin-Eater - totally not an evil, shotgun-wielding Ghost Rider knock-off.
A reboot? Another one? Just for Spider-Man or Marvel in general as a response to DC's New 52?

The reset button will be pressed, all the heroes look on in horror as...Spider-Man suddenly has a wedding ring again.
If there is a reboot it's probably only in universe. What books are starting in 2015?
