This thread's for the Spider-Man comics and spin-offs, whether they're decades old or brand new.
- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Evil Felecia is awful even discounting the stupid way she turned evil
It's funny, I had just heard this past spring from an older fan that Roger Stern's original plan in the 80's was to make the Black Cat into Peter's arch-nemesis. It's fascinating to think of what Spider-Man's history would look like if that had gone through - apparently the idea was that the Cat would be making Peter's life hell after he proposed to Mary Jane, going all-out Woman Scorned on him with the knowledge of his secret identity. Hell of a payoff to him giving his secret identity to a woman who was bad news, and would probably have prevented the marriage before it even happened. Black Cat would likely be up there with Norman Osborn for Spidey villains; there certainly would have been less need to bring back Norman in the 90's; the Black Cat would be seriously considered for movie adaptation on a consistent basis...
Just in general, it's a fascinating "what if."
Was there a Spiderverse-related issue this week or were you simply referring to how it kicked off last week?
wait who's karn?
This dude◊. He's killing Alt-Spideys alongside Morlun.
Wasn't that Spidercide's motivation, sort of? But I can see how they'd rather pretend he never existed.

I hate that I don't hate the Jackal anymore.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI hate that I am apathetic towards the Jackal.
The world will look up and shout "Save us", and I'll look down and whisper "Too bad, Waluigi Time" Vote Loki 2016Pic reminded me that there's currently two Carrions floating around, entirely independent of one another; the Jackal's sentient virus sidekick, and the William Allen one (last seen in Guardians of the Galaxy).
Wonder if they'll meet, like Toxin II/Carnage and Agent Venom/Scorpion should.
Someone help me out:
1) Just to be on the same page, is Anna Maria a little person? I'm pretty sure she is, but I'd like a confirmation anyway.
2) The Superior Spider-Man that's in Spider-Verse, is he The SSM after he got Peter's mind back into Peter's body or what?
1) Yes, even though sometimes the art doesn't convey it the best.
2) Maybe?

Lafayette StrongAh, thanks for that.
They didn't establish that? Weird.
On a related note, I'd be surprised if they didn't have Spidey of Earth-616 spar against Sp Ock and 616!Spidey said something along the lines of "Man, no wonder everyone was ticked off at me because of you. Even I'm ticked off by you."

The Superior Spider-Man from Spider-Verse explicitly came about during a very specific moment in the Superior Spider-Man series. During Superior Spider-Man #19, Spider-Ock was lost in time for 24 hours. During that time, he started gathering up a team of Spider-Men from different realities to fight against the being trying to kill all the various Spider-Men.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Ah, so it's not Spider-Ock from when he put Peter's mind back into Peter's body.
Kinda makes you wonder how the current Amazing Spider-Man will fit in within this story. That is, if he does show up at all.

Spider-Verse is every Spider ever, hes probably gonna make his own team which will be mayday, kaine, ben, jessica drew's, miles, and miguel. unless spock gets miguel and kaine to add to his edgy team.

Yeah, I guess it's really likely we'll see Peter get involved.
…
Actually, come to think of it, of course Pete's gonna get involved. He's the original Spider-Man. Without him, we wouldn't have any of the others.
Well, forget I said anything that was questioning Peter's involvement!
I swear, if this doesn't happen, I'm gonna be mad.
Peter: Quick question, are we all invulnerable to each other's Spider-Sense?
Sp Ock: Think so?
Peter: Awesome. -Knocks out Sp Ock with one punch- I've been waiting for MONTHS to do that.
My various fanfics.Id like for in the middle of a battle for whoevers fighting with peter to suddenly do what Sp Ock says and then Peter comes in and is all what the hell how can you still think that's me.
I kinda imagine Kaine giving Peter crap for the way Sp Ock treated him during their crossover. Then Peter tells Kaine the whole Sp Ock thing.
Cue Sibling Death Glare to Otto.
"You can reply to this Message!"The real question is whether or not "every Spider ever" means Ultimate Peter Parker too.

What the heck is Peter Parker: Spider-Car?

Slott wanted to include a living Spider-Mobile with the civilian identity of "Peter Parked Car". They apparently said no.
I assume it would have come from a Cars-esque universe.
I actually am liking Felicia's attempts at becoming the new Big Bad, and I still vote Felicia for new Spider love interest.
