Actually, since it'll be tomorrow, I can split the split with you. I feel like writing some tomorrow.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOkay, which one do you want to do, and I'll write the other.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Hmm. I'm more familiar with Easy Levels, Hard Bosses, so I'll do that one. I'm also gonna reread the thread to remember what we decided on plurals in the titles, and what to do with all the "other" examples. We can sort those out after we're both done.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWell I'm working on Hard Levels, Easy Bosses right now. Don't forget to move the page quote to the one you're working on.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Alright, I made and indexed the page. I'll probably write a little bit of a better intro tomorrow. Right now, I'm trying to figure out what happened to my Steam connection right as I got the last tv of the Smash TV achievement in Portal 2.
But, since both pages are made, we'll probably be able to lock this thread fairly soon.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyWe still need to work on the wicks though.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Of course. Lock soon, not now.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI've started cleanup on the wicks.
Although I can't tell from the context given which subtrope the link on Another Side, Another Story falls under.
Bumping this, so that more people will see it and possibly help with the cleanup.
How is the wick fixing going?
Found in 96 pages. I've kind of been sitting on my ass here doing other stuff. I'll try to finish it up tomorrow.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyStarring. How are the wicks coming along?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer98 wicks to go, but I don't see a clear what to do guide anywhere.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman"What to do" is simply sift through Boss Dissonance's wicks and change them to the appropriate subtrope.
I would also like to point out that I've noticed a lot of misuse of this trope to refer to single bosses, when the descriptions for the trope clearly say that the trope is about the difficulty difference being present throughout the game.
then they should be removed with that as a reason.
I still haven't been up to helping. I'm gonna try tonight.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI know that, I was simply pointing that out so that other people that may help with the clean up would remember to do that.
The Related Links page shows accurate usage up until... Lillian Forehand. I don't know what the French page was about, so I didn't judge that one.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThere are still 86 wicks left to clean here.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Would anyone like to help me?
The sad, REAL American dichotomy85 wicks left here. That's a really small amount to be holding this up on.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.87 wicks left.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.I'm doing some work on this, and removing examples that claim "both types".
Examples that cover one boss only are being shifted to YMMV pages as Anticlimax Boss.

Looks as though the only remaining wicks - of which there are just nine - are either on the translation pages (specifically French and Italian) or references to the supertrope. Well done to all who worked on this.

Okay, I'll work on it tomorrow, unless someone else does first.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.
