You realize that Revan's plan (or at least, his plan the last time we saw him, and there's nothing to suggest he's changed his mind) was "kill everything and let the Force sort 'em out"?
Dude's fucking certifiable at this point.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.Being Mind Raped by the Emperor for three centuries will do that to you.
BUT I DON'T WANT TO FIGHT REVAN DAMNIT! STOP MAKING ME FIGHT HIM AND LET ME JOIN HIM!
"So long as mankind exists, there will always be battles."Don't take my fake hashtags so seriously dammit!!!
Fine

They're replacing the skill trees? What do they plan to do once they overwrite already-existing skill tree investments?
Living The Fever DreamKinda like what World of Warcraft did. You have all of your skills back except for the one or two at cap.

And you drag me back in Bioware.
Please say that Agents will get to finish off Darth Jadus. I always hated how none of the endings of that questline allowed you to kill him.

I could see him totally joining Revan.
Nope. I'm fully committed to FF 14. Though I may miss my double-fisting Mandalorian badass, I'm content in playing a game where I have more than two friends.
I've actually been debating playing that but I don't want to play subscription MMO XD
But anyway I wonder if Jedi and Sith are going to be joining Revan because they both think he has the right idea.
I was subbed in TOR anyway so it was as simple as swapping the game I'm subbed to. Plus, like I said, I actually have friends and a real guild not just some shit that me and two buddies slapped together so we could have something under our names, and it's an RP server so it's fun even when we're not getting our faces melted off in high-level raids. As for TOR, I couldn't abide by all the restrictions even on preferred players. Sorry, I had over 3mil on my BH and I am not getting nerfed down to fucking 350k. And while not being able to turn off helmets was fine on BH and trooper, since they never went without them, shit wasn't happening on my smugglers or saber-jockeys.
But yeah, it was mostly the credit cap.
And as far as Revan, he's got the right concept (not idea), but bad execution.

When he joined the Dark Side the first time it was because the Emperor used his mind control to force him into the Dark Side and make him his slave(that last part didn't stick ironically for the Emperor).
Now we see what a truly Dark Sided Reven acts like....

Not quite. Revan first fell to the dark side of his own volition — when he and Malak told the Jedi Council to sod off and went to go fight the Mandalorians. It was only after they defeated the Mandalorians, and their leader told them of being urged into starting the war by a Sith pureblood, that they went looking for the Sith Empire and ended up getting captured and mindhaxed by the Sith Emperor. That's when he turned around and attacked the Republic, picking up where the Mandalorians left off.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.NM: I'm wrong.

I must admit, it's not TOO constricting when you're Free-To-Play simply playing the story and leveling up...but I really hate those moments where I'm at a level in which I'm too weak to complete my story or desired missions, but gain EXP at too slow of a rate to level up sooner than later.
Living The Fever DreamI'd greatly appreciate it if they stopped forcing the cartel coins on a whole lot less stuff. I can get the decreased exp gain, lack of cosmetic options, unique gear/decorations/companions, and the galactic strongholds, but the interface restrictions, account limitations, and lessened movement speed (until you become a preferred status member) is absolutely irritating. Nearly everything in the game existing behind a paywall does not make for an inviting game.
So I decided to start playing this game because I need a Bio Ware game to hold me off until Dragon Age 3, and what I played of the Smuggler story a while back was pretty alright.
Can someone explain Heroic quests to me? Is the parenthetical number meant to indicate the amount of actual people I need to finish it? Can I just wait till I'm slightly overleveled and do it solo?
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yes, it indicates how many people you need to clear it at that level. You need to be 10+ levels over it to solo, tho. And by then, the xp you'd get is nothing.

Well that sucks.
Guess I'll just not do those, then.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."I still wouldn't say they're completely worthless. Some of the best-looking gear, in my opinion, comes from heroics. Like that trooper set on Taris, or the BH set on Corellia.
Yeah, but if I have to team up with other people, then I'm not gonna bother.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Yeah, the number after the heroic mission is how many people you're supposed to have to do it. Theses are basically always [2] or [4], with [2+] showing up sometimes. You can solo them if you're overleveled (especially if you and your companion are in decent gear for your level), but it's more like five levels higher than ten. Once you start getting a five-level difference in combat, the game starts throwing fuck-you mechanics at the lower level combatant — the chance for their attacks to miss or be resisted skyrockets, most noticeably. You're effectively invincible against normal opponents at five levels up, though against strongs and elites it's less cut and dry.
Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.
They're removing skill trees and replacing them with "Disciplines".
Annoying to redo my skills, but should be interesting.
