The only thing more depressing than the musical Parade is the fact that MTI only lists six upcoming performances.
Fanfiction I hate."Awesome Musicals"
That's redundant.

Everything happens for a reason. The reason is a chaotic intersection of chance and the laws of physics.I dunno. I know a number of direct-to-dvd cartoon musicals that were annoying. Granted, those were dubbed "sing-a-long..."

Fanfiction I hate.@Fire: I'm gonna be cruel and say HSM. For the record I'm deeply sorry.
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. The first HSM (I haven't seen the sequels) wasn't really that bad, although I was in elementary school I think when it came out and I haven't seen it since, so I may be wrong. I don't particularly like any of them, but I don't think they're really deserving of the hate they get. And a few of the songs are pretty catchy.
-Narmy acting, bland vocals. You probably read this post in another forum-
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.Gets much worse than that, my friend, especially when dealing with the Disney Channel. Though I agree the acting was fairly bad and the vocals weren't anything noteworthy, I can't recall it being particularly unenjoyable.
No, I admit it isn't as bad as some people make it out to be. Just not my thing. I was around 13 years old when it came out. I admitedly enjoyed it. But, over time as my liking of film grew I could see why it was a bad flick.
If you ask me it's just So Bad, It's Good that I don't like
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. That sounds about right. I think it might get the hate because it's so symbolic of the Disney-is-ruined/I-hate-tween-music partnership that seems to run wild nowadays.
On a better note, Godspell!
I have to say, even though this musical is absolutely stuffed with great songs, and this is nowhere near the best it has to offer, it's still very close to being my favorite. I mean... you can't argue with that counterpoint. And it's so much fun to sing.
Chess is a nice musical. Saw it once live in my home town theater.

That is all.
It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile. This thread needs more Sondheim.

Musicals are already pretty awesome when they're not the best things ever. When you get a really good one, it's just brilliant. And there are so many fantastic ones, too! I was going to make a topic for just one, and then I was like, screw it, because if I made one I'd have had to make topics for like twenty others.
Current musical obsession: Chess
