Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.I was caught between 2 answers on a couple of the questions, but I thought they were the best I've seen on the internet. In addition, I greatly appreciated the inclusion of a "none of the above" answer.

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.....What.
I was rated as a liberal. The fuck...?
"Who wants to hear about good stuff when the bottom of the abyss of human failure that you know doesn't exist is so much greater?"-Wraith"Liberal" is not even listed as one of the 20 answers. The point of this test is to remove the basic run-of-the-mill generalizations. What is the name of your listed ideology?

5. 22% are more authoritarian.
It's called libertarianism motherfuckers. Get the government out of people's lives and in adherence to the powers granted to it by the Constitution and no further.
Ronald Reagan was no surprise, though Ron Paul in 2008? I would have given him greater consideration had he not been a wacko isolationist. The 2004 results are widely different than how I voted. I voted for Bush in 2004 because I wanted a leader (especially in regards to foreign policy) who was not an elitist jackass and a wuss when challenged.

A pretty decent quiz as far as this type of thing goes, but this draws too close a connection between morals and politics.
The fuck? How can you be conservative AND liberal? And Conservative AND progressive neo liberalism?
I think you broke it. :V

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Keep in mind how muddled the definitions of "conservative" and "liberal" are when it comes to politics. Conservative libertarians fit pretty closely with Classical Liberalism, for instance.
The explanatory hints often seem rather contradictory to the statements your'e supposed to choose from. For instance, "You should get the health care you are ready to pay for." ends up actually meaning "Basic health care should be provided to all, but extra health care should be available to you if you want it."
That said,
You scored -1.5 on Moral Order and -2.5 on Moral Rules.

I would guess that by liberal it means classical liberal, which is something like American economic libertarianism.
Ninja'd.

[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Looking at their matrix it should be impossible to get some of these results since they are on opposite sides of the spectrum, in fact, some are direct opposites.
Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Meh.
It puts me at around -2.5, 0, close to a number of ideologies (liberal, socialist...) and seems to measure mostly personal views.
You learn marginally less than you do from my political compass score (which is about +0.45 Economic, -8.69 Social, I think), and very little if anything about my actual ideology from either. None of the important questions were asked.
It's also somewhat US-centric, lacks detail and makes various assumptions (belief in God apparently makes you more conservative?)

I have devised a most marvelous signature, which this signature line is too narrow to contain.Kind of have to agree.

Bwahaha, no party wants me. Not very surprised about this (except for the David Cobb bit, don't know anything about him other than that he was on the Green Party ballot).

aishkiz: A test like this can't be nation-neutral, since different nations have different political terminology.

Come to think of it, it seems like their questions leave little room for any kind of conservatism response at all except total lassiez-faire economics, Stay in the Kitchen, and cartoonish racism.
^ Hey, those are exactly the same stats I got.

I figured that when they put authoritarianism as the opposite of socialism.

Well he's talking about WWII when the Chinese bomb pearl harbor and they commuted suicide by running their planes into the ship.Yeah, that's the problem with a lot of these ideology tests. Many of them are loaded questions designed to get a leftist response.

Is using "Julian Assange is a Hillary butt plug" an acceptable signature quote?Didn't we debunk the two-axis measurement system a while ago, on the grounds that it still leaves out important aspects (there's no morality axis, for instance), conflates very different things (corporate interests and individual interests, for instance), and represents as independent factors that are actually connected?
Okay, now I've actually read the OP, wait a second.
Political Compass, an old standby for this crap, has six (short) pages of questions. How is a 16-question test supposed to be more accurate?
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.
On Topic discusses politics fairly often. We define ourselves as left-wing, right-wing, and the occasional libertarian. When people take online tests, they sometimes feel that the results/questions are too generalized. Well, this quiz can give you 20 different ideologies. It explains your precise position in the quadrants very thoroughly compared to other online tests. It's 16 questions long. It would be fascinating to know which kinds of liberals and conservatives (and all the other things) we have on this forum.
My results were -7.5, 5.5.
My results compared to other quiz takers:
This was interesting, since I'd thought that "libertarianism" and "socialism" were unmixable opposites. If you care to see the description for Libertarian Socialism, I'll spoiler it.
Libertarian Socialism is an extreme form of Moral Socialism.
It is a political philosophy dedicated to opposing what its advocates regard as illegitimate forms of authority and social hierarchy (Non Conformance), most famously the institution of government.
It has gone by various names: libertarian communism, anarcho-communism, left-anarchism, and, most commonly, anarchism.
Libertarian socialists therefore believe in the abolition of private property (Interdependence) in the means of production and abolition of the state as an unnecessary and harmful institution (Non Conformance).
