Akinator is a 20-questions style web thing, only it confines itself to people and fictional characters. Its main claim to fame is how scarily accurate it is; the only time I've successfully stumped it was by playing the Humbug from The Phantom Tollbooth, and I've played this thing a lot.

Post your Akinator experiences!

Beat him using Blue/Leon from Alter Aila.

I almost stumped him with Mr. Rogers. He guessed Gene Kelly first, then when I chose to go on, he guessed it right.

Duquan from The Wire.

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.

First: There's been a thread about that site at some point, but it might have been deleted.

Anyway, beat him with Ray Carling.

I love how the Blue Eyes White Dragon confounds him because of the whole "spirit of a human woman" thing.

[up]What the...what? What do you mean spirit of a woman? I don't remember that!

Also: @Catfish: Is that easy?

[down]Oh.

This is like the third thread we've had on Akinator, but whatever, Akinator is cool.

It's kind of bad with minor Doctor Who characters, though usually it'll guess it's some kind of Doctor Who alien like the Slitheen or Sontarans.

Surprisingly good with That Guy With The Glasses folk though, though somehow it got "Super Mecha Death Christ 3000" when I tried Ask That Guy With The Glasses.

Beat him today with Fumio of Saitama Chainsaw Shoujo.

Remember: You can always beat character-guessing Djinns, as long as your character is obscure enough.

Actually, that's why I find it more fun to see him get something right.

Though thinking of some Touhou before Ultimecia?

It successfully guessed Boggy somehow, though Wozza from the same game got the...uhh...Save...frogs?

It also got Pushing Up Roses (Bird Tattooed Let's-Player) pretty quickly.

Stumped him with Tock, took him 30 questions. He guessed the Disreputable Dog from the Abhorsen Trilogy first [lol]

EDIT: Why does The Phantom Tollbooth not have a page?! D:

EDIT 2: Because I spelled it wrong. I feel idiotic >.>
