The game was renamed to Xenoblade. That's likely why you haven't seen anything about it.

Why the sudden name change? And theres no discussion for this game here anyways, so...how is it?
Is the game long and hard?

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Apparently the combat resembles that of FF 12, which immediately made me lose interest. I pretty much expect Wii Sports Resort quality swordfighting in any Wii game featuring a sword now.
Really? SWEET!!....wow we are different people...
But I actually enjoyed FF 12's combat and mechanics.
Oh please let the game be out in english...and subtitled with a choice of dual audio.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."According to Wikipedia, there's a thing where you see visions of the future, and can choose to work to cause them or prevent them.
I have a message from another time...^ Okay, that sounds pretty awesome.
This looks like a game I was mildly interested when I first heard about it but then forgot about it. And Goldeneye got more coverage because it's a remake of a fondly remembered and popular N64 game.
I'm more interested in the Last Story, tbh. That seems like it has a better chance of being localized. =d

Man I hope this game is hard and long too...so I can play this game for as long as I played Monster Hunter.
^^ Wait, so the made the remake just to cash in on the nostalgia? Then why did they throw in Daniel Craig...my opinion on the game is that it was pretty good for it's time...

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."Monado Beginning Of The World is a title that made me take interest.
Xeno Blade, which is what I knew it as, made me lose interest as it brought to mind overrated Aliens or slow moving RPGs.

Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackThe reason you're not hearing much about it is because it has yet to be localized despite still having the name of "Monado" from Nintendo of America and being on their release calendar.

...something like a game's name is enough to go from wanting to play a game to not wanting to play it?
What about Better Than It Sounds? Like...American Mcgees Alice or Bunny Must Die?
^ It's on their calendar? Sweet.
A game as awesome looking as Monado I'd expect to be released and translated within a month after it's japanese release though...I guess they don't have much faith in JRP Gs in the west.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."^^ It's on their release calendar? O_O
360 Gamertag: Electivirus. 3DS friend code: 5412-9983-8497. PSN ID: Electivirus. PM me if you add me on any. It's been there pretty much since it was announced, though there's still no date or progress.
...though it's worth noting Nintendo has a crazy habit of announcing their release dates for lower profile titles insanely close to the actual release.
Well, that's... mildly reassuring, I guess.
My Wii's been starving for some good JRPGs.

Yes, if the title makes you think its part of a series you don't care for, then its enough to shoo a person away. Its the same reason people will drop the names of notable directors, writers and artists, even if they had nothing to do with a project, in hopes it'll attract fans of what they did work on.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackEven when you know that it's not the case?
People aren't as awful as the internet makes them out to be."Role playing game called Xenoblade." clearly says "Not related to Xenogears at all." when you're browsing for something to buy, or even pieces of news to read.
Monado Beginning Of The World says "I wonder what that is." and see, I clicked on the thread, despite already knowing about and ignoring Xenoblade.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackI will also admit, I prefer Monado as the nme.
Much like how I preferred Knight of Ratatosk.
In an unrelated note, how does one make a redirect?
I have a message from another time...[[redirect:TargetName]]
So whose played the game before?
My personal experience is, JRP Gs have a tendency to be easy * because japanese gamers don't really like being challenged...but then there are always exceptions to that rule too.
On the other hand...I like the large swords and large enemies and the fact that it's a JRPG in a console that barely has ANY RP Gs.

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."JRP Gs? Really? I have yet to be challenged by a Western RPG aside from a single boss here or there or discovering halfway through the game I built a gimped character. It's gotten even easier ever since they turned into largely shooters with dialog wheels.
....true....Never Winter Nights was damn easy (Fighter+Weapon Master=invincible godlike One Many Army)...
Still, JRP Gs have been getting simpler and simpler as of late...compare Final Fantasy 3 with the newer ones. Final Fantasy 3 has Garuda, the boss that can kill your entire party before you even have a chance to act.
As for a typical modern JRPG...your warrior will do loads of damage to a boss, and any damage a boss may deal upon you will be immediately negated by your healer and potion spamming...

"Every opinion that isn't mine is subjected to Your Mileage May Vary."
The game looks awesome. And it looks like a great Replacement Goldfish for my Monster Hunter Tri.
The visuals are nice, and the gameplay looks good. Quite frankly, it looks like a great game, and it's been out for quite a while already.
Why haven't I seen discussions regarding Monado ANYWHERE? I tried googling Monado, and theres barely anyone talking about the game. Even something like Golden Eye Wii got way more coverage than this epic looking game...
I can barely find much information about this game! In forums, I haven't seen a single thread titled Monado or anything....
Is this going to be another great looking Wii game that will get the middle finger just like Zangeki No Reginleiv?
