This is supposed to be a "rehearsal place"? With that bad a soundproofing?
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."I was wondering if Sonya has sneaked a phone call in and transferred the booking or something (for all we know she handled the room bookings for the Troublemakers). It’s possible that she and Angel aren’t in an adjacent rehearsal room, but are in the lobby to this one. Or something.
Or, weak writing.
Zii is drunk on DiDi. It’s bollixed up what little bit of sense she had.

= Spindriver =bollocksed
I’ve seen three separate ways to spell that and they all seem valid.
Merriam-Webster and the OED both allow “bollix”, at least as a verb, and it’s vulgar slang anyway, so nyah nyah nyah. I just like “bollix”.
= Spindriver =New Ma3. Old joke.
= Spindriver =New SotR. Can it still count as a Spy Catsuit if she turns out to be a cat burglar?
New Ma3. Whadya know, Sonya is at least pretending to take the high road. And Zii is setting herself up for a deep fall, by simple inaction.
= Spindriver =No, but it's a thing of beauty. Aside from the gorgeous Giz character art, we have Sonya completing her journey from idiot to mistress of well-timed manipulation (with epic-level Jerkass Has a Point), and her twisted friendship with Yuki confirmed.

= Spindriver =Duuuude, Ziiiiiiiii, way not cool!
She's not even being a jerk here. If anything while she was close to It's All About Me, she immediately proved that's not the case. She just plain has a point - Zii's the jerkass.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyYeah, Zii's definitely the villain here.
Well, that (gorgeous) panel 4 expression says that Sonya is enjoying this more than is 100% good for her soul. But sure, she’s earned it.
= Spindriver =It's as really well composed comic. Art, word emphasis, character, juxtaposition...
Oyster diving, if you're into that.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyAgreed. It’s a minor Giz classic.
= Spindriver =New SotR. Oh dear, a lot of attention not being paid.
= Spindriver =Please don't let Sandra be a Jerkass throughout this story... I know conflict is human and natural... but at the moment she went from being the most likable protagonist to the only lead character I actually like.
Also, total cat burglar. That's an interesting story.
Yeah, it's kinda BS to go so deep into jealousy when you not only have an actual love interest, but other people interested in you, and the target of Operation: Jealousy would get with you if you wanted. We Could Have Avoided This.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy... Still wondering why Sandra is jealous over Cammi.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.New Ma3. Not much plot advancement, but ooh, Sonya is on a roll. And Angel is a class A arsehole, but maybe Terry really is that bloody awful...
= Spindriver =An interesting direction.
At first I couldn't tell if the drummer was intended to look like Zii, due ot the tear streaks giving similar framing to the white bangs, and given Angel and Zii's history. If that happened, and given Iiz' own look, this would make a theme, at least.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySo Zii doesn't even remember what she said to Sonya and Yuki on the phone... yet.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Oh dang, she was aware of that conversation enough to give more appropriate responses than "yeah, fine".

Fresh-eyed movie blog
I'm guessing that Zii forgot to inform Yuki that Sonya quit the band, huh?
