Ah, finally a Call-Back to that. I forgot he actually bought that.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyI thought he might have realised that the source was tainted when he discovered what a creep Nathan was. But... Dillon.
= Spindriver =- Just a filler today on Ma3. Cute, though.
- Talking of cute... The only question must be, what's wrong with Pierre? Because anyone who looks this perfect should have been snapped up years ago...
... What's the big deal with Oprah?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I was more concerned with the "never lies" part.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's a bit of a joke on how easily people will believe pretty much anything if it's on Oprah.
Or TV, for that matter, but especially Oprah.
Particularly women and camp gay men. But then, that's her demo.
Fresh-eyed movie blogNew Sandra. Sandra earns a discount (just three euros?), but Pierre doesn't trust her (for a measly three euros).
= Spindriver =I don't know how much a tartelette is worth, but in France croissants are cheap. I happen to be working in Paris right now and lunch break is in a few minutes, I'll take the opportunity to check.
Update: Well I'll be damned; croissants have become much more expensive than I remembered. And by "much", I mean "the price in euros is higher than the price in francs used to be." However, I should also account for the difference between a Parisian bakery (now) and a suburban mall's bread point-of-sale (then).
Anyway, 3€ is still rather cheap for a croissant and tartelette. In the bakery I checked, it would have totaled either €3.90 or €3.95 depending on the kind of croissant.

"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."And that's a really good bakery, in a fashionable district.
= Spindriver =Pierre... How big a moron do you have to be?
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Pardon?
Apart from not saying "I'll trust you to pay when you're in next", I'm not sure what he's done wrong.
= Spindriver =Well, let's see, letting her leave without giving her credit, the bread, or the clothes, or even the sheet she came in with has to qualify.
Creed of the Happy Pessimist:Always expect the worst. Then, when it happens, it was only what you expected. All else is a happy surprise.Mutual comedy stupidity. Knowing Sandra, she probably went "Aargh! I'm an idiot!" and sprinted out of the shop, covered in confusion and flour and nothing else, before Pierre could say anything.
(Certainly, if Pierre's an idiot, so is Sandra, in that she didn't ask for any of those things.)
= Spindriver =...Weren't there other customers?
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOnly a mother and her daughter, whom we only saw opening the shop's door. Persumably the mother took off with her daughter right after she saw naked Sandra.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Somebody pointed out that Pierre's croissants alone cost two euros each...
Okay, enough with the pedantry.
= Spindriver =... Heeeeey, that mother-and-daughter pair is the same one that we've seen last week!

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Pierre doesn't seem to be big on Favors for the Sexy. Either that's integrity or stupidity.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyOr, like I said, Sandra leaving in a crazy panic before he could offer.
= Spindriver =New Ma3 — a guest strip, and definitely NSFW. Probably not canon, but it could be.
= Spindriver =Huhuhuhuhahaha
New Sandra. Technically SFW, but note that's due to a lot of hand/arm censorship. One might say that Sandra's worries about good taste might be justified. One might also say that, hand/arm censorship notwithstanding, we get a minor reveal.
= Spindriver =
And — new SDB. Ruby is Surrounded by Idiots. Well, one idiot, but that's enough.
