The new anime by J.C. Staff

I just saw the fist episode and its....... weird, but its still pretty interesting. My only complaint is why does this show focus so much on Merry's midriff?

I wasn't planning on watching this one, but I saw a picture and thought it looked cool. I read what they have of the manga on mangafox, and I really liked it. I sort of hope the anime airing means more people will get interested...and more manga will get to mangafox.

Better than I expected, but not by much. Don't know if I'll watch the next episode.

I liked it. Think it'll suffer from Madoka Magica doing a lot of the same things better, though

I found myself greatly enjoying the first episode. I realllyy liked the character designs, and the OP music was great, so that was good. The shifts between dream and reality scared the hell out of me as well. I'm definitely going to be following this.

Interesting start, but somehow I don't think they'll go anywhere with it. Reminds me of Shakugan No Shana.

Figure I'll give this a go. I need something to replace Ika Musume in my heart and/or free time.

Just watched the first episode. I am going to be watching the shit out of this series.

I'm willing to keep watching, certainly. It could be very interesting depending on how well they handle it.

@OP: They focus on Merry's midriff because it's a fine midriff, naturally.

So, is Merry supposed to be a loli or is she just a Pettanko? With the whole Generic Cuteness thing I can't tell.

Also, Chaser John Doe is officially the best. Name. Ever.

Just a Pettanko I think. I get the impression that she's supposed to be the same age as the main character (and probably has some sort of past involving him, given the OP and his magic eye).

Especially when its pronounced Chaser John Deeeeeeeeeeeeeew.

Chaser is more of a title, isn't it? So his actual name is just John Doe, or rather John Dew.

It's Chaser John Dew, dammit.

I watched the first episode without knowing anything about it and I was hooked by the time Merry falls on top of Yumeji. I'm also really digging Merry's outfit and her eyes.

Merry's outfit is appealing other than the funky floating curly jacket tail things. Those bug me a lot.

After the disappointment that was Freezing, I thought I'd give up on anime this season and watch some older stuff. Then I loaded this up.

I have found perfection. It's like Inception, but with less symbolism and more kickass. The whole thing takes place in a crazy-ass dream world with awesomely messed up visual effects. Our villain is named Chaser John Dew. He commands an army of Yakuza cats, dresses like a twisted combination of Jack Skelington and Jason, acts like Freddy Kreuger and wields a saw-guillotine.

And then there's Merry...

But, you know, I think I'm going to have to echo . I'm loving the concept so far, and manga made me anticipate some of the stuff the anime's going to do even more.

I wonder how KSPAM would react if the rest of the episodes were steadily worse and worse, with a disjointed and rushed climax with a shaky Aesop tacked on.

Please, please, no. No. No. Just... No.

The shows seems a little confusing. But I'm gonna follow it.

My mind would likely break and I'd burn all my anime collections and manga volumes while sobbing over the shattered remains of my faith in the industry.
