Crazy looking game.

As for Kamijou... he's not even a character any more, just walking plot element for making Sayaka miserable.

I mean really, why is he there if that's all he's for. It's ridiculous.

Damn. Got me complaining about Sayaka's Butt-Monkey status. I swore I was done with that shit too.

Yes, but the other walking plot devices have some characterization outside the service they provide to the plot. Kyousuke, though, is just there to make Sayaka miserable. What a dick.

I can't fathom why anybody can hate a character for being exactly what they're supposed to be, honestly. I don't really care for them beyond that kind of context. they're not real people, after all.

Hitomi did give Sayaka a chance though, meaning she clearly cared about her happiness to some extent. But Kyousuke just sounds like every fiber of his character is making Sayaka miserable.

Not that violin douche was a complete monster. That was just an example of why someone would hate a fictional character.

Meh, they did what they were supposed to do. I don't see why we would judge them as if they were real people.

Why all the hate for Kyousuke? He's at worst Oblivious to Love and somewhat thoughtless, especially when you consider he had no idea that Sayaka was troubled at all.

Well, the fact that he got mad at Sayaka simply for trying to cheer him up (and without any warning at all that he didn't like listening to music when she'd been listening to it with him for seemingly a while) and the fact that according to word of god if he had gotten with Sayaka he just would have flaked out on her and generally been a terrible boyfriend.

The dude just doesn't strike me as a very good person.

And since There Are No Therapists, Kyousuke will never reflect on the implications of his attitude towards Sayaka.

Personally, I think of Kamijou as a typical 13-14 year old boy: somewhat selfish, pretty oblivious to a girl's feelings, and generally just too wrapped up in his own drama to notice anything else. It's probably never even crossed his mind that Sayaka had spent her time and money on things to try and help him recover, since he's totally focused on his own dreams being dashed.

That said, I don't think he's a bad person, just immature.
