Puella Magi Madoka Magica

So this is a thing that I just found. They appear to be some manner of Madokomics.

To be honest, I didn't like them that much. But I did burst out laughing at this one. For months I've said that had to have happened in at least one timeline! She's the universe's chew toy!

Daaamn girl, that has to sting. _{But stinging is a general facet of truth.}

This Madoka is significantly less nice. And yet she still so very cuuute.

And when Madoka is about to disappear, she will see Homura's face one last time...Just as planned.

It is now my headcanon that at least one version of Violin Douche in one timeline gave up classical music and became M.C. Douchenozzle.

His debut album is considered the album of the year all years.

Nice bit of continuity with T-Madoka being the only time Madoka's not streaming tears. Kinda fond of the coherent storyline here too, and this amused me a little.

I have the Terminator theme in my head now and it is glorious.

It's one of the first ones we saw (without translation), isn't it?

I kind of laughed at "a dream contract" being followed up with "it was a forbidden contract", and also at everyone but Kyouko saying affirming things. Not really sure why.

Also, they brought back the term "messenger of magic" I guess?

Hm, seems they're using old version footage. But then I haven't seen the movie yet, so maybe not. (though the fact that they used connect makes lean towards it)

Well yeah, I'm pretty sure it's an old trailer. But Sayaka doesn't have her fortissimo hairpins, so.

Mh. Guess they couldn't get that nice-looking new footage up. Ah well.

Aniplex's fault, I guess. Though that might've been put up before any trailer with movie footage had been released.

Preview for A Different Story. Mami and some new magical girls, it would appear. Or they could be Pleiades and I'm just bad at recognising them.

Some people thought Homura's timeline 1 design was gratuitously Moe, but I thought it was a wise artistic choice. Sure, they could've made her look just the same as usual, but I thought the change in design was an effective visual tool to convey that episode 10 was going to be very, very different from the rest of the show. Also, it made me think "What?? That's Homura?" when I first saw it.

I didn't get the impression most people wanted her to look the same as usual. Just, er, not like that, specifically.

I got the impression that Past!Homura was well recieved, at least in Japan judging by the amount of fanwork dedicated to her... in fact a common joke is for Madokami to be heavily attracted to Homura's braids and glasses.

Yeah, there was this one short doujinshi where post-Madokamiscension Homura tries her old look on a whim, decides that it was too silly, and tries to undo her pigtails and remove her glasses... only the invisible Madokami is having none of it, actually resorting to hands-on (meta)physical effort to prevent Homura from undoing her uber-cute looks. I'll try to dig it out.

That would normally be a rather ineffective way to prevent someone from removing glasses or braids though. Move wrists/head, yes? (If she's using magic she doesn't need to touch Homura at all.)

(iirc that doujinshi had a couple more pages for its resolution - do you have that too?)
