Aw, I thought this would've been released in the US. I mean, Tail Concerto was... : <
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Huh? Something like this exists? xD Funny, I've never seen Japanese game with furries...(and art style is pretty much same as what furries use xD) Still, interesting game.
I've heard about this a little... Huh, looks pretty fun. Might check it out if it really gets released.
Stargate SG-1 Let's Watch. Because my ZHP thing failed. If Solatorobo gets released in Europe, I'll buy it. I loved Tail Concerto back then.
"Your kindness gives me the presentiment I can be reborn. Now, I want to believe at least in you." - Kaori YaePretty much gave up any hope of this being released in the US once I saw that Scamco was publishing, but Tail Concerto was okay, and this looks nice too.
Well, the good news is that the DS is region free.
Not sure how much of a hassle (or money sink) importing this from Europe would be, though.
Not that I care, but... what is it with NAMCO and ports?
Yep, I'm still here.I shouldn't get my hopes up, but I really hope this is some sign of an English release.
I don't have too much to say.Actually looks like a fun game, I saw some of the strange commercials for it on youtube.
Though as a wussy bandwagon follower, I'm worried about being labeled a furry if I like it. Still I'll probably give it a try if it comes here.

'Bout time this got mentioned. What must also be mentioned is the 100 advertisements this game aired in order to attempt to break a Guinness world record, detailing lore, funny sketches, and other things.
You can start here.
There is also a page: Solatorobo

...Let us in...This game has been helpful in reviewing what little Japanese I can remember. Many details will have to wait until when I actually get around to learning more of the language (or when the fan translation continues), but I think I have a good idea of what's going on.
I don't have too much to say.Another fun fact (with varying degrees of fun): It seems Cyber Connect 2 seem quite keen on making this an extended franchise like their Dot Hack series. They're already planning two more works in the "Little Tail Bronx" saga, including Strelka Stories and Red Data Children.
...Let us in...Those look extremely interesting. I hope "Stelka Stories" sees some kind of release outside Japan.
On another note, this Solatorobo 4koma is pretty funny. There's an ongoing translation for the comics here, but be aware that the rest of the site is very NSFW.
I don't have too much to say.Something just popped up to me.
What was the second entry in the "Little Tail Bronx" series? I noticed that Tail Concerto was the first, and this is apparently the third, so what was the second?

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Apparently something called Mamoru-kun if this map◊ is anything to go by. Originally, Mamoru was planned to be the main character for a Tail Concerto sequel, but the plans fell through and now the character is a disaster warning program mascot.
I don't have too much to say.Okay... So, will we ever get that story someday?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Highly doubt it. If I remember correctly Mamoru-kun was also made to support a relief effort. It seems like a regional thing that wouldn't really benefit from a localisation. Also it's a Web Original, not a video game or a novel or anything. Web originals don't have strong localisation support as far as I know.
...Let us in...I want this game so bad. It's probably my most anticipated game of this year.
That said, I can't really discuss much because I'm trying to avoid spoilers, so I'm not reading up on those fan translations or anything else that might give away precious story details that I want to save until I play the game myself. (I watched all the commercials though.)
Tail Concerto was good. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me.
This game has to come out in English. It just has to...
"I could go on listing the stupid design decisions... so I will!" — Yahtzee's job descriptionThe winter 2011 EU promo does show some promise, what with the very first showcase of the game being in French and the fact that it has already been rated for EU and Australia. No idea on America though, nor if any of the DLC will be shipped as well (although I assume the latter would).
Also, did anyone else notice the incredible "Blind Idiot" Translation of Nietzche there?
Seriously, how can you go from "Battle not with monsters, lest ye become a monster, and if you gaze into the abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."
to
"The person who fights with the monster should take care own becoming the monster by the process occasionally. The abyss also peeps into here when it peeps into the abyss."
...Let us in...^ TRANSLATION PARTY
Anyhow, yeah. Hoping they give us a US release of this anyway. It looked like it could be fun, and they actually had surprisingly good voice actors for the Japanese release.
Sakamoto demands an explanation for this shit.TC: I see your Solatorobo avatar and raise you a Solatorobo avatar
(I've already got a file of these. Maybe I'll start cycling through them on this site in anticipation of this game.)

"I could go on listing the stupid design decisions... so I will!" — Yahtzee's job descriptionI just finished the main plot of the game. Now, I wait for a translation so I can understand what exactly was going on during the last few hours of the game. The endgame was still awesome to play, however, even if I didn't understand much of it. (Spoiler: So there's this Tartarus thing, and something about Project Coda, and then Re-Coda, and also a bunch of other nouns that I could make out. I kinda think I have some idea of what was going on for the endgame, but my conclusions are mostly educated guesses based on what little Japanese I could read.)
I don't have too much to say. It's funny, this is one of the few games that I do NOT want spoiled, so the tags are appreciated.
Was it fun?
...Let us in...It was fun, beyond a doubt. The game as a whole isn't perfect, but there is just something about how the elements of the game work that make it one of the best games of 2010 in my eyes.
I don't have too much to say.
This is a good game, and it needs to be be seen by more people, even though it isn't going to be released in the US. (Though it appears that there may be a translated release in Europe and Australia.)
A trailer:
Here is someone's (in-progress) translation of the game.
