Xemnas, appearing grateful that the dragon is protecting him, he gazed downward to the city that lies below the pair. He summons a few Sniper Nobodies to ensure their descent to the city, should anything prevent them from doing so.

Miserix alighted on a tall building in the city, though not the tallest it was tall enough to provide a good view of the suroundings.

Miserix set down Xenmas on the roof of the building.

"We move out from here, our task should be easier now".

With that Miserix launched himself into the air and flew off, scanning the city scape with his eyes; not leaving out even the smallest details.

The Snipers appeared behind Xemnas, ready to receive orders from the Superior as he thrusted his right arm outward speaking, "It is time for reconnaissance, search the city for clues to our target and remain unseen, we must not allow them to notice our presence any further." And with that, the group of Nobodies vanished.

"You are useless against the might of SHOCKER!"

The Shocker Rider threw the robot's broken arms out of his way after destroying the said robot.

-Ganondorf flaps over the entranced gorillas' heads, following the flow.-

Shang Tsung landed and laughed.

"Azula, my dear," he said, "lightning can't go through my hellfire pools. If I explained it, it would take forever, so I'll just say that it's just magic and you should really just relax."

Then, he turned to Queen Bee. "People can't. But sorcerers...well, that's another story." He forced her upright, then aimed a roundhouse for the center of her chest.

Queen Bee flies back. "My fellow queen! Do not focuzzzz on the portalzzzz! Focus on the sozzzcreer."

Suddenly she shoots venomous darts out of her body.

Shang Tsung dodged the darts.

"Wait," said the sorcerer, "how can there be two queens in one place?" Then, he realized something. "Azula! She's not making you queen! She's just calling you a queen while abusing you like a slave! You must usurp her!" With that, he collected his hellfire pools and turned them into a large flaming skull.

"She'zzzz the queen of thizzzz planet while I rule Koryll! A whole world under your command!"

"No," said Shang Tsung, "don't you see, Azula? You're not going to be the queen of this world if I die trying to stop Queen Bee. You'll just be her puppet, slave to her every command. If you wait until you return to your home realm to be a world conqueror, you can truly rule it. But if you take this Earth, you'll just be a soulless puppet, slave to Honey Woman here's every command! Remember who you are, Azula! Do not let her enslave you!" He sent a flaming skull at Azula.

"There is a difference between slavery and alliance, Tsung! I would think you would realize that!" Azula shot a blast of flames towards the sorcerer.

Shang Tsung simply let the flames collide and burn each other out.

"Yes, I would," said Shang Tsung. "Alliances are borne of people working together to achieve a common goal. Slavery is what happens when one person employs another to do dirty work and doesn't give anything back in return. I am your ally, but Queen Bee is using you as her slave. It's that simple."

"And I am tired of your lecturing at me!" Azula leapt forward into a somersault, kicking forward a burst of fire with her legs while creating jets of flame from her hands to keep her rolling forward, almost creating a fireball with herself at the center.

"If you're so tired," said Shang Tsung, "why don't you just agree with me?" He blocked the attack and countered with a burning roundhouse.

"Because I know better than you!" Azula stayed on her hands, almost standing on her head, and moved to kick at Tsung with both feet, allowing more flames to engulf her legs as she did so.

"You forget," said Shang Tsung, "that I have lived for thousands of years. I know plenty about the art of deception. I know a liar when I see one, and Queen Bee is a filthy liar." He stepped back and drew his sword. "Besides, we're in a universe-spanning game of gods here. Are you just going to quit and abandon all you have earned in the Fire Nation for this?"

Azula landed in a crouch, folding her arms, then slinging them out, twin throwing knives appearing in each hand as she did. "Temporary displacement."

Shang Tsung ducked, then slashed with his sword seven times. Each time, he let a blast of hellfire whip forward from the tip of his blade.

Azula grunted, dodging backwards, blasting away the hellfire with her own flames, keeping the knives in her hands, backing towards the edge of the building. She stopped, putting on foot on the edge as she sent away the last blast of hellfire, staring at Tsung.

Queen Bee suddenly shoots more poison darts at Tsung. "You cannot interfere with Koryll'zzzzz plan!"

Shang Tsung ran out of the way of the darts.

"You know, Queen Bee," said Shang Tsung, "you're the first person I've fought in a long time who hasn't tried electrocuting me." He quickly darted over to behind Queen Bee and turned into a Shy Guy. "Turn around!" he yelled. Should Queen Bee turn around, she will find a Bullet Bill flying at her from seemingly out of nowhere with a disembodied mask floating above it.

Queen Bee is sent flying from the explosion.

Azula scowled, then took another step back, balancing on the edge of the building. "A pity, Tsung. I suppose we'll just have to leave you up here. You have bored me!"

With that, she stepped backwards off the building, grinning as she fell quickly out of view.

Shang Tsung quickly turned to normal, jumped into the air, grabbed Queen Bee, and threw her back down to the rooftop.

"I've got something special in mind for you," said the sorcerer as he put on an evil grin. But then, he noticed Azula was gone. He ran towards where she had been and morphed into a yellow-clad ninja with a grappling hook in his tool belt. Then, he pulled out the grappling hook and tossed the pointed end of it at Azula. "Are you bleeding mad?!" he called after her. "Get over here!"
