The Twilight Of The Gods

Doom, still hovering a dozen feet up in the air, raised a hand towards the werewolf and casually fired a photon burst from his middle and index fingers. They were moderately-powered, so it was unlikely to kill the attacking lycanthrope, but that wasn't the point; the Latverian monarch wanted to gauge its strength and fortitude, so that he might have a better idea of how much power he should actually devote to his weapons systems.

Dalek Sec kept firing on the werewolf, shouting "EX-TER-MIN-ATE!" at every shot.
It was a lot of Exterminates.

Maul span out of the were-wolf's way, igniting his lightsaber in the process.

Vanitas raised his Keyblade, and unleashed a hail of Dark Fireballs from his left hand.

Gilgamesh watched the battle against the werewolf. He had encountered similar monsters in his past. Silver would do…wait a second.

Gilgamesh tried but could not summon his normal silver weapons.

The damn nomads must have intended to make this hard. With a sigh, Gilgamesh summoned a silver-blue colored sword and let it hang in the air. Upon closer examination, the sword appeared to be made from solid ice. Pointing at the Werewolf, Gilgamesh sent the freezing blade, a sword that froze anything it cut, right at its chest.

Jack, predictably, hid in the corner, jibbering to himself.

-The werewolf weathered the photon blast without breaking a sweat. However, a volley of extermination beams, a volley of dark fireballs, and said photon beam combined to pack a very powerful punch. The werewolf roared in pain and leapt forward, with enough force to knock the sith, who stood in it's way, out of the way. It bounded into the depths of the forest-

— BLAM

A blast from the tank blew down a tree nearest to the pack of wulfen aggressors, and Megatron the tank trundled out of the forest, taking aim at another lupine.—

-Zod simply watched-

"Similar, but distinct from the other ones..."

Maul rolled out of the were-wolf's way, scoring a solid hit on its flank in the process.

-The soldiers, somewhat shaken by the attack, collected themselves-

"Thanks. Now keep going, the house is just ahead."

The Shocker Rider hanged back case the werewolves managed to get near the barn and all.

Dalek Sec followed the soldiers.

Gilgamesh hung back, as his ice sword had missed. Dismissing his weapon, he kept his eyes alert on the forest.

There were multiple Werewolfs, he was sure of it. The things ran in packs, much like their less dangerous cousins. He didn’t know exactly how many were out there.

He was tempted to just use Ea and end it all…but why bother? To use Ea on these animals would be like just a sledgehammer on a near dead insect! It would be overkill and insulting to his weapon! No, he would deal with these animals using lesser weapons and save Ea for a truly mighty foe.

Maleficent had watched the encounter with the werewolf. She did not intervene in saving that soldiers, because she did not want to risk losing this challenge if she killed any of these soldiers herself while destroying the lycan.

She stayed outside, observing the treeline for anymore of those dogs, preparing to burn any that came close.....

I can see them.

The Shocker Rider saw multiple shadows in the forests, as if they darted from one tree to another while eying the group.

All the more we need to set ourselves up.

-Horrible and the soldiers at the house had headed inside and started setting up. They carried a second wounded man into the house- this one wore a different uniform and his eyes out of focus.-

-The others rounded a bend in the road and came into view of the house, the Land Rover parked outside. Cooper breathed a sigh of relief-

"We're here. Looks like the others got here ahead of time. Now we need to get inside and start making some preparations in case those things come back."

Doom folded his arms imperiously over his chest, descending from on-high to alight on the front porch like the iron avatar of some baleful god. "Then we are to take refuge in this ramshackle cabin like the inbred, mongrel adolescents of a cheap American horror movie? How base. Still, for the time being it will serve."

And with that, the armoured monarch of Latveria flung open the door and strode inside.

Dalek Sec glided in.
"DEF-EN-SIVE-FOR-TI-FIC-A-TIONS-SHALL-BE-BUILT-NOW."
He set to work finding steel to weld onto the windows.

The Shocker Rider assisted Horrible and the others in barricading the house in any way possible.

-Cooper and the others headed inside and began trying to fortify the house somewhat. Outside, shadows stirred in the forest. The sun was almost gone.-

-Inside the barn, Jack became distinctly aware that something was slowly plodding towards the door-

Dalek Sec started welding steel to the windows.

"An interesting opponent we're having for this challenge."

The Shocker Rider murmured to himself, helping the British commandos barricade the house.

Sec turned to the others.
"MY-SCANNERS-REVEAL-THAT-THE-FEMALE-IS-A-LUPINE."

"She is, eh? Very well. You are right about the werewolves." Daido said, readying his knife to find the female to kill.
