We have all been gender flipped!

Erin eventually stood up, wearily heading towards the desk and the now-open bottles of ink.

Daydre's ears perk up.

"Hm? What is it?"

Marie, meanwhile, has been awkwardly standing around in her room, a can of air freshener in her hand. She's been listening in.

"Interesting changes in terms of species..." heh.

"I wonder what other weird abilities others might get. Some of us haven't awakened yet, I'd say."

Eisen muses to herself before walking out of the bathroom and into the hallway.

Noticing Aqua looking nervous, she goes up to him and greets politely with a smile.

"Hello there Aquarius! Is everything ok?"

Joanna notices Daydre's ears perk up. It's kind of an odd sight, but it's not one she can't get used to. Considering everything that's been happening, it'll most likely become a normal sight to her soon enough.

"Um...here, let's...wanna continue this out in the hallway?" She gestures towards the door with her sketchbook.

...Is Koi going to be okay?

Marie decides to poke her head into the bathroom to check in on things. She notices Koi's unusual features and raises her eyebrows. "Eyyyyy, that's pretty neat. Just checkin' in- how's it hanging?"

Erin looked around the room once again, rubbing the bridge of their nose and sighing, before sitting down and dipping a pen into the ink once again.

some time later, they exited again, fingers now somewhat stained with ink.

Eisen nods and smiles before replying in a relieved tone.

"Don't worry, Koi is ok... although we've found out he's a merman. He's in Marie's bathtub at the moment."

Eisen pats Aquarius to calm him down.

It's around here that she also notices Erin coming out of the door, with ink on their hands. Naturally she greets warmly.

"Good day, Erin. Did something happen?"

Erin rubbed their fingers together in a futile attempt to remove the last traces of ink, then snapped their attention to Eisen.

"What? Oh, no. Nothing important."

Ah. Sorry, a ton of stuff started happening, and I wanted to help but I didn't know how to do so without making things worse and...

...Why do I smell ink? O__O'

The green AI lady pats Aqua on the shoulder.

"Ah, I understand. We're relieved that it's over for now, anyway. I'm sure there was a way you could've helped."

She then turns to Erin, especially after Aqua commented about the smell.

Smell was something that Eisen lacked for the most part. Only something like an air particle analyzer was the closest thing to that. She thus answers calmly yet curiously.

"I'm pretty sure I noticed ink, and Aqua did comment about an ink smell."

"Just...just keeping myself busy." Erin said hesitantly.

@Eisen: How, though?

@Erin: Oh? I didn't know you could draw. >__>

[They were busy doing something with ink. Probably writing something. No need to push it.]

The AI makes a friendly smile and a small synthetic hum as she ponders a bit before replying.

"Seems that you might have been busy writing something. Ah, no problem."

Meanwhile, she turns to Aqua to answer her question.

"You could help by offering your bathroom in this situation. Or even some words of reassurance. Sometimes that's all that might be needed."

"Oh, okay.. Sure." Daydre took a step towards the door. He had to wonder what Joanna wanted to talk about that she (presumably) wanted to keep away from the others. Was it related to her dream..?

"I wasn't drawing, just writing a little." Erin replied as the door to their room swung open just a little.

-Aqua, the smell of ink just got way stronger-

-Eisen, assuming your optics are good, what you can see in the darkened room is a wall almost unanimously covered floor to wall in scribbled-on paper

@Eisen: I suppose so...

As the door opens, Eisen's sensors perform a small scan on what was inside.

The room was mainly dark, but she does catch a room covered in scribbled-on paper. This causes her to ponder a bit.

[So that's what the ink was for and that's where it came from. Why would they do this, though?]

Her reply is somewhat curious and with a good amount of surprise. Judging from Aqua's response, he must have caught a wind of the smell from the room, since it sure couldn't have been sight.

"That sure seems a good bit more than 'a little'."

"That's quite true indeed. Curious to know... what kind of writings are those?"

The scan into the room earlier was only a substantial one, not one that would help to detect the writing. Moving a bit more into the room to see the meaning of the text was a bit of a privacy invasion she would rather not want to commit unless Erin consented.

There's a small pause as Eisen tries to get more info about the writing. Maybe an attempt or two as to what the text might mean.

From what Eisen could make out from the text, the font appeared to be gothic, along with some cursive.

"That's some very good handwriting there." she nods, trying to subtly find out what was written.

Erin shrugged.

"I woudn't know. It just kind of came naturally."
