Unfortunately the R games are the last on that list (outside of that cash grab Phantasia sequel, Summoner's Lineage) because the Vita is...the Vita. Also worth noting the best-selling version of Symphonia is the PS 2 version, as the GC one flopped hard in Japan.

It takes the party half the game to figure they're related. Actually, they don't figure it out at all. Leon just spills the beans for them and everyone falls off their chairs, surprised. Holy shit, we did not see this coming.

There is some subtle foreshadowing. A nice one is in a skit where Philia has lost her glasses and can't see anything, so she bumps into Leon confusing him for Rutee.

You mean he literally just drops that shit out of nowhere? Like they're having dinner or some shit and they're just shooting the shit and suddenly Leon just goes "Oh BTW did you know I'm Rutee's brother?"

Also Rutee does seem like sh emight be more...buff than Leon is. But X2 has her pretty damn short too.

Leon's got to be the most feminine looking guy in the series. I mean, at least Jade and Richard have masculine faces.

Kombat, pls, that would be just weird. In both versions of the game, he tells Rutee before he dies.

In the PS 1 version, he's a douchbag, so he goes "You were a worthless child, abandoned by your parents. What, you didn't figure out we have the same father? Nah, nah, nobody wants you". He's trying to taunt her since he's commited to dying already.

In the PS 2 version, he has to stay behind to operate the left that will carry everyone else out of the flooding cave. Before he dies, he reveals to Rutee the truth, in tsundere fashion. "I hate to admit it, but we do in fact share blood". Since she had kinda expressed a desire to find her family way back when. Scene.

And then Rutee gets a super sad scene. T_T

Lol wow PS 1 Leon is a shithead. Still can't see how he suddenly became popular unless apparently unpleasant shitheads are weirdly super popular amongst fans if Jin Kisaragi from Blazblue is any indication.

Yeah, I can see why I just don't like Leon that much. I dunno how he even got popular in the old days when he was a shitbag. But like I said, Jin is proof that being an unpleasant prick is "cool" and people will always look past that because...fuck I dunno.

Although quite why that doesn't mean Saleh is more popular I dunno. Maybe it was because he was actually a villain.

Nah, he's kinda snobby in the remake but he's not outright malicious. Leon side sheds more light on him. His interactions with Chaltier are just too cute. T_T

Judas on the other hand...that guy has a sharp tongue, even for a Stealth Mentor. More artwork, cause Inomata really put some artistic touches on these. <3

Now I wish that goddamn remake came out over here.

Going by the amazon results from the post above I guess the majority of people weren't pleased with it, although given the issues I can understand why .

After doing the math, the rough average score turns out to be a whopping 1.7, ouch.

Somehow not the worst I've seen.

Watching more Hearts R stuff, I think Hisui is my favourite healer in the series. He's so unhealerish in personality, plus he's such a dork sometimes, and he's got the epic bromance with Shing.

I only said it as a joke, but this whole Alicia thing really might mean the game joins the Main title game that gets pushed to escort title status that Tempest occupies.

And that's regardless of any real quality as well.

Eh. They wound up shooting themselves in the foot, regardless as to how venomous rapid fans (of a character who wasn't technically around yet) can be, so I can't really say I pity them a great deal. That said, I still almost feel bad them now at this point. Even if I'm bummed that the one reason why I was semi-interested in this game is around for all about ten minutes, that's still pretty harsh. That Alisha DLC better have some meat to it at any rate.

Still, this isn't like, let's say, torpedoing a series that's been running for nine years and shoving everything about it under the bus in the span of three weeks with no real conclusion. That's perfect acceptable apparently. Gah, I just don't get Japan sometimes.

The game is already one of the top 10 sellers in the series. It's a success no matter how you look at it. A billion troll reviews are pretty much meaningless in the grand scheme of things. Frankly, at this point it isn't even a matter of disappointed Tales fans, it's just people jumping on the hate bandwagon because it's cool. I'm not saying the game is actually any good, but this is just noise.

Mah precious waifu ruined this game~

So strange to see so much attachment towards a character they barely knew anything about. And she's not very interesting in the storyline at least. Also lots of rage because she has no original mystic artes, only reused ones. Unless her DLC changes that.

Just saw this. Leon has an exclusive event in his side where he pretends to be a woman in the hot springs...and it works. Nobody suspects a thing.

There's no official "heroine", and Baba apologizes for the confusion that the order of character announcement caused.

Someone with better knowledge of Mandarin please correct me if I wrong.
