People hate it because it looks like it's going to be a carbon copy of Sticker Star, which was very poorly received.
Not too excited about Metroid 2 TBH.
Non Indicative UsernameI'm very too excited about Metroid II. It was my first Metroid game.
She looks good with short hair.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersGet excited, for a brand new Metroid has finally come out! Metroid Prime: Blast Ball is out on the eshop. For free! This will be a wonderful appetizer to hype people up for the main game.
Welp. 14 minutes of fed force. Still massively downvoted. But it looks interesting!
The other thing that's interesting is they don't call it directs anymore, it feels like one, though.

Yo! 2 was also my first Metroid game! But because I was too young while playing that, I didn't really enjoy it, so Super was when I really got invested.

My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!I just finished playing Blast Ball, and it's actually pretty fun. I sucked terribly at the Blast Ball segment, though xD But they also included the tutorial level of Federation Force, which I did a little bit better on & enjoyed a lot more.
Still gonna get Fed Force once it's out. I think it's gonna be a fun game.
Why is the best comparison to the newest Metroid game Rocket League? It plays okay at least. Blast Ball was mildly entertaining, but it's not selling me on the game. Online performance was fine. The training part did make it feel like a proper Metroid Prime on the 3DS would have worked, but alas. Better than I expected, but the singleplayer (and I do mean single) needs to review well if I'm going to consider picking this up.

Anyone else felt that blast ball was boring?
All Blast Ball attempts in the AI matches ended in complete whiffs. This shit ain't easy. It doesn't feel like I'm propelling the ball as much as the others.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefI know some people really dislike the Zero Mission design, but I'm just thankful Samus has a consistent appearance now outside of her Power Suit.
I sure said that!Yeah let's make Samus Mid-Life Batman...
Mileena MadnessI think it's just sci fi standard space suit.
The military garb in Other M is also pretty cool.

Non Indicative UsernameLess than a day to go before AM2R is out. I've been following this for so many years it's almost hard to believe it's actually here.
What? The full version is finally going to release soon?
Project AM2R is officially out. Go get it and enjoy Metroid's 30th birthday.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2So, AM2R is a remake of the second game but with Super's engine (or something simulating it), right? I can dig it. It's the only Metroid game I haven't played.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I really like Metroid 2, but it's a major victim of screen crunch, which really hurts an exploration-based game like Metroid even with the accommodations implemented in it.
It was screaming for a remake, in other words.
I sure said that! She's not having a good time.
Chozo Whistle
Samus solid snaking it
Some Samus doodles. Including her giving a chozo a heart attack.
I've been playing the AM2R. Got up to the queen before I called it a day. She's a tough old girl.
Forever liveblogging the Avengers@Zelenal: It's more aiming for an improved Zero Mission feel in terms of speed and how the game controls.
I've been playing the fanremake, and so far I'm really liking it! The Blackout Basement type areas can go to hell, though. But that's more of a personal problem of mine, since dark areas in games scare me, and I don't like that. Especially in a game like Metroid II, where there can lurk a powerful enemy like a Metroid almost everywhere.
I just finished AM 2 R. It was everything I wanted it to be and more.
I had already played the demos, but finally getting the complete version is so indescribably amazing.
Can somebody explain the vitriol behind Color Splash? I've only seen stills from that game, so I don't even know what the mechanics are, nonetheless why people would hate them so fiercely.
