Living one-handed is suffering.

I wonder if Samus's suit has a way to temporarily replace the gun with a functioning hand. If she ever needs two hands for something she's screwed.

In Prime 3, the arm cannon's open up wider for missile feature is also used to manipulate objects at certain points. Not as dexterous as fingers but it's better than nothing.

Maybe it can fold away if she really wants it to.

Oh really when?

Is there a part in Other M during the Ridley attack where the arm cannon is temporarily replaced with an armored hand or am I remembering wrong?

I suppose she could just "swish" away the cannon temporarily...

I have seen some fanart of Chozo in power suits that have feets instead of boots.

I've got a question about the Shadow Pirates from Prime 1. When you look at them without the thermal visor, do they have predator style cloaking technology, where the cloak reflects the surrounding area like a mirror; or do they appear as a sort of darker patch, like there's a shadow being cast in the shape of the pirate? I can't find footage online.

If I recall correctly you can see a weird distortion in the region they occupy. It's the outline of a pirate.

You know, Space Pirates have crazy technology like invisibility, bringing back the dead, punching holes into alternate dimensions, and whatever the HELL they did to Kraid in Super to make Kraidzilla, but they can't figure out curling into a ball.

And they put morph ball tubes all over their bases anyway. SCIENCE TEAM

Those aren't morph ball tunnels, those are maintenance drone tunnels.

Really cool how the arm cannon lights up and transforms on the inside.

The image of Samus strutting around showing off her inordinately high-tech power armor like it's on a catwalk is hilarious to me.

I was thinking they're kinda like North Korea, except more competent. Poor technology relative to other factions, total obsession with developing weapons others invented that they have no clue how they work, and a hyper-militaristic society with an incredibly myopic leadership which sees its population as disposable objects.

Just because the Chozo can do it doesn't mean the pirates could. I mean, as far as we know Chozo tech is still way beyond Pirate tech. Now if the Federation had morph ball tech then that would be another story.

Actually, if they have Mother Brain working for them how could they NOT know how the morph ball works? Wouldn't Momma B know how it works?

She was a smoldering pile of ashes at the time. All the pirates had was the nebulous high command.

If Mother Brain was designed after the Chozo went good she might not been given that info.

She's too busy setting up planet-wide self-destruct mechanisms, guns that fire spaghetti-o's, and doors that only open when all her top generals are slain to bother with useless trivia like that.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!

Where in any media does it say that the Chozo used to be bad guys? I mean, it says they used to have a warrior caste back in the day, but that doesn't make them evil.
