And that's Corruption down, and with that, the Trilogy. Normal difficulty, 100%, 10:48, no deaths.
Preferences for the trilogy as a whole: 3 > 2 >= 1. Favorite area, SkyTown. Favorite boss, Rundas. Favorite weapon, Annihilator Beam or Nova Beam.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."Now do it all again.

SECOND QUEST IS NOW AVAILABLE
Forever liveblogging the AvengersJokes aside, congrats.
My personal order is 1 >= 2 > 3.
I love all of them, though I prefer 1 and 2 over 3, and have trouble deciding if I like 1 or 2 better but 1 usually edges out.
My favorite areas from each are the wrecked Frigate Orpheon, Sanctuary Fortress, and Skytown, respectively, while my favorite bosses from each are Thardus, Emperor Ing, and Dark Samus, respectively. Favorite weapon is the Annihilator Beam, as if there's any other option.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I personally say 1 is just slightly better than 2, which is roughly equal with 3.
Retro is awesome, is my point, though I suspect I wouldn't like Echoes so much if I was playing without the Prime 3 controls- It does have a pretty harsh round of Early Game Hell.
I sure said that!I liked 2 more than 1 more than 3.
I loved the gimmicks of Echoes and the first exposure of the first game, but Corruption was just so sad and the weapons were reused from the first game.
Also after my Wii died I lost all my memory on it, and that soured my memory of nearly all my Wii games.
Honestly, I probably like all three about equally.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Corruptions weapons were sparse, but I preferred the story and environments. Prime 2 could get really hard and sometimes tedious because of how difficult it was to advance. Prime 3 made a lot of the exploration and mechanics fresher.
But Dark Aether was so cool! The way it ate away your life and how the Ing would jump out at you and try to tear your face off. ;p
And I really liked the beacons. There was something cool about jumping between them like playing The Ground Is Lava.
Only The Air is Lava.
And the Luminoth were so much cooler and braver than the Chozo.

I like 3 a bit more than 2 for the same reasons I like 2 a bit more than 1: more interesting environments and boss fights.
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."My general experience playing 2:
"Okay, heal, heal, keep healing... RUNRUNRUNRUN... okay, heal, heal- OhgreatsomethinggotinKILLITaughit'spushingmeout!... keep healing, keep healing, healed but don't want to leave..." (Repeat x4000)

I liked that there were safe zones. The beacons could heal you when they were normal, damage enemies when charged with the Light Beam, and draw the Ing to them like bug zappers when charged with the Annihilator Beam.
The Luminoth are easily one of my favorite alien races. They're just so cool. And they made the Light Suit which is also my favorite.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Eh, I think a fully-souped up Dark Suit looks better.
It helps that the Gravity Booster is designed to match it perfectly.
I would have preferred the real Light Suit as Samus' white alt in Super Smash Bros 4. So much cooler.
I love the notion that the Luminoth and Chozo used to chill out together back in the day. That's probably the reason U-Mos was so trusting of Samus right from the start. "Oh, is that Chozo armour? They must have trained you to fight. This is exactly the kind of thing I've been hoping for."
I doubt the Chozo knew the Luminoth personally.
They probably knew of the Luminoth, though. And the Luminoth probably knew of them.
So, to the entire galaxy, Sans obviously the space pirates, the sight of a Chozo battlesuit showing up next to you in combat is the stuff of legends, and everyone knows that the side the chozo take is the side that wins.
Hence the immediate deference to Samus by people who don't know her- She's got a chozo battle suit, she's here to save ALL OF OUR EVERYTHING.
Except the Pirates, who know the Chozo wouldn't like them even if Samus didn't have a habit of wrecking their toys on a weekly basis.
I really love that Samus saves Aether because she's got nothing better to do while she waits for her ship to repair itself.
I sure said that!Way better than blowing it up.
"Origins: It is told that the Luminoth were not born of Aether, but of the stars. In the early days, we roamed the greatness of the void, bathing in the glorious light of a thousand stars. We met a vast number of enlightened minds... the N'kren, the Ylla, and the Chozo among them. Each of them, we found, had claimed a homeworld and formed a deep bond with it. In time, we decided to do the same."
Still no idea who the N'Kren and the Ylla are, though the Ylla at least are mentioned in the lore on Bryyo.
"Age of Science: The ships of Bryyo sped to the stars, in all directions, bearing the banner of peace. Soon we found stellar brethren in the Chozo, the Luminoth, and the Ylla."
All of the bits of lore is easily the best thing about the Prime series. I mean, they'd still be great without them but removing them would be removing so much despite having no impact on the gameplay and very little on the story.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! The Monks of Grondheim!
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! They make the finest weapons in the galaxy. And like crystals.

They'd make a great faction for a Metroid MMO.
My personal preference is 1 and 3, over 2. And Super over all of them becaus HA!
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you know
I've read the one that has her origin story as well as S&J. The former definitely reinforces my stance on her being one of the top video game characters that deserves a hug.
