I've never read Banchou, but I have a feeling that it'd be hard to top All-Fiction. "Ability to make anything become nothing" is so brokenly overpowered it'd be right at home in the Index-verse.

...actually, that's given me a fanfic idea. Kumagawa vs. Accelerator, anyone?

Pitting Kumagawa against Touma would be too weird to depict in a low-budget post like this. All-Fiction basically nullifies stuff. Imagine Breaker would...nullify the nullification?

Kongou Banchou has The main character become a 200 meter tall giant and he and his brother split the islands of japan in half in their final clash.

And their father is stronger than both of them.

In a bit of irony, Medaka Box's Plot became very similar to Kongou Banchou. A Japanese government conspiracy on making the strongest beings in the world.

Couldn't he just make Aiwass not exist? Of course, luckily for the premise of the manga, Kumagawa tends not to go for the easy wins because they wouldn't be fun.

Also, I have no idea what Aiwass can do.

Yes, but that gets complicated when you take into account Aiwass is an Angel, and is thus extradimensional (in the Fighting a Shadow sense).

I wonder if Kumagawa will ever get over his self-defeatism. 'Cause seriously, even without All Fiction, he could pretty much roflstomp the world if Medaka and Ajimu weren't around.

Well, he at least shares the same weakness as Marvel's Thanos. That's got to be worth something.

The way I understand All-fiction, it's nowhere a good as it sounds because of it's Ret-Gone properties. It means that if you erase anything important, like somebody's existence, you get into unpredictable butterfly effect stuff and then who knows where you'll end up.

So it's best to limit yourself to erasing things the only recently came into existence, like 'the fact that you just got punched'.

Well still, that means it confers absolute immortality for you and your forces. Thankfully Medaka reformed Kumagawa, otherwise All Fiction would pretty much make him an angry, screw-throwing god.

Kumagawa's self-defeatism is also the source of his power though. If he had self-confidence he wouldn't be so delusional try nearly so hard.

No, it doesn't seem to change the past in any meaningful way. One of the very first things he does with it is remove someone's old scars, much to their annoyance. He also does things like remove Emukae's power or Zenkichi's vision.

He doesn't even really need All Fiction. Without it, he still took five different mortal wounds and got back up to crucify some bitches only a few hours later. Dude's a fucking boss.

Kongou Banchou Is still Stronger, Destructive Capacity wise.

No one in Medaka Box has gone above Building Level Destruction yet, and even so, Tghe Hax the series has barely makes up for it.

Besides, I might like Kongou Banchou a bit more, just because of this guy:

HOT BLOODED◊!

But both are awesome, if yet very similiar concepts when it comes to Fighting Series.

It's long been established that you have no taste though. Or at least taste that's significantly different from other people's.

And 1,000,000,000 times 0 is still 0. No amount of big numbers can ever be better than an absolute. It's not just about power levels.

Edit: Bookmaker would also be more than sufficient against a merely strong person.

Zenkichi fights guns with feet. He can, did and was prepared to kick a loaded gun. He didn't run or dodge, he fucking kicked it.

That is more badass than all the explosions and ten minute power up sequences in the world.

You don't seem to understand what I'm getting at. Badass is relative. When people are firing off energy blasts and blowing up mountains all over the place, it gets old eventually. It loses oomph.

Hence why I'd watch HOTD or Medaka Box over Bleach, Naruto or DBZ any day. They keep it fresh.

None of these uses energy blasts much and if they do, aren't that often.

Meh, I should continue on Medaka Box or wait for the anime, as the club activities part was boring me to death.

That's kinda what he does. Wouldn't be a huge problem if he didn't have sucky taste. Or rather, if he didn't automatically like everything in a style reminiscent of a certain homeless man.

I really do feel like Reading Medaka Box more, but the School Club activites felt boring, I might watch the anime instead.

Taste is subjective, you know.

And you like everything. You can't possibly have any taste by anyone's standards if you like everything. I don't even know if you could call it taste if you liked everything. Poor and good taste rely on discrimination between works, y'know.
