So, I just got back into playing DDO for the first time since 2008 and HOLYSHIT HALFELF.

Anyone else stoked about the improvements they've made?

Thread ressurection (because I dont want to make another thread)

I find this game quite fun actually and after the next patch I would heartily reccomend anyone to make a rogue sorceror or wizard

I tried this a while back. If enough tropers join, do you think we should set up a guild/clan/League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen?

So, now that it's Freemium, I might be compelled to play, but IS IT ANY GOOD for someone whose contact with D&D was limited mostly to old AD&D CRP Gs?

It stands on its own as a MMO although similar to 3.5 you could probably enjoy the game (besides its FREE)

I've been meaning to. I played it as a sub for two months back at launch.

I've got an Elf Artificer, but because I know little about character builds, his overall stats were crippled by bad decisions.

I'm looking to True Reincarnate him into a Warforged and set things right.

Okay, fine! I'm going to do something I'm sort of good at!

I've played a bit and keep meaning to play more, but I'm still a LOTRO addict at the moment, to the exclusion of any other MMO I have installed on my machine. I used to play D&D back in middle school and have fond memories of the game, and then of course I played a good many of the gold box games for the PC. I'm curious to see how DDO compares at some point.
