Super Smash Bros.

My standbies are Link and Pit. The former's been my mainstay since the series began. The latter surprised me; I didn't except to like him, but he's kind of like Link, but faster.

Kirby, R.O.B., and Marth are my power trio. In that order.

I'd love to see what those guys do with it. Have they said what characters they're using?

Two characters? A bit primitive.

Well, it IS only a demo. 4 Have been confirmed, don't know if they're doing more.

I used Sonic, Toon Link and Marth, I believe.

That demo was pretty interesting (albeit hard for me to see; they should've emulated the Game Boy Color at least). I'd try it.

I just use PJ64 and play SSB original

Anyone up for an online game tomorrow?

(sigh) ...I wonder... does anyone bother with Red M? One of the main problems with him is that he has become... I'll just say it. He's BORING. I know he's THE MARIO, but they couldn't have at least make him interesting to play as?

I would have like him to say his quips from previous games("That's-a so nice!"). Tune up his firey projectiles, show some expressions, etc.

He was wasn't bad in the previous games, but here, he's too bland for his own good. Green L was more interesting to play as.

I also miss Dr. Mario.

I miss Dr. Mario as well, and it is partially in his memory that I continue to use Mario, even though you can't do some of the stuff with him that you could with Doc.

That said, you can do lots of other stuff with Mario. I never thought he was boring - he's pretty fun and has a fair bit of variety.

Also, the quickness of that cape never fails to fill me with joy (how many frames is that? Because it reflects before he actually swings it, and a little after). He's my Samus counter-pick. Or at least he would be if anyone ever used Regular Samus as apposed to starting with the Z Suit.

My brother does, and he's a beast with him. Mario seriously used to be the only character he used in the original Smash. In Melee, he picked up Kirby, and in Brawl he added Link, Lucario, and Sonic. But in the end Mario's his main.

I had fun fighting him in Melee with Dr. Mario and Peach (a couple of my best characters in Melee).

I'm pretty beast with Samus and Lucario, myself.

I like Snake.

Liked him before I read the tier lists.

I also go out of my way to main Game and Watch, because he's motherfucking Game and Watch.

I haven't played Super Smash in ages. Samus was my best for the first two games alongside Ness in the first and G-Dorf in the second, but they changed her up in Brawl. Because of that Snake was my best in Brawl. I was also good with Lucas and Ike.

Ooh, I liked Ike. Marth seemed slow and meticulous to me, but Ike was quick and had powerful strikes.

I think you have their names mixed up which is understandable, I mean they both have blue hair.

No, that's just how I saw them. I've only used Marth in SSE, and spent much of it going "Does he have any attacks that do anything other than minorly irritate enemies?" before getting frustrated, switching to Ike, and never touching him again. Enemies that Ike was oneshotting, Marth would have to stand there and wail on for several seconds.
