I'm still not exactly sure why Sakurai doesn't want to consider (it seems like he won't) just having a head supervisor role in the next Smash game if he still wants to have some input in the games yet not do all the work. Something equivalent to what Miyamoto's role is to Nintendo at this point in Miyamoto's career, but applied to the Super Smash Bros. series.

I want to say pride gets in the way, but I think that's assuming too much.

No, it's pretty much pride. He takes great pride in his work and wants to test everything. It's part of his work philosophy and who he is.

It's not inherently a bad thing to care deeply about the work he does/directs/produces, but he overworks himself to the point of injuries, which is the bad part itself.

Moreover... I kinda want to see a Smash without all of his particular eccentricities, if I'm being honest.

Maybe get Shinya Kumazaki- He's done a hell of a Sakurai impression with the more recent Kirby games.

I was starting to be a bit sad all the Greninjas were getting beaten in that one. But the Hydro Pump gimp on Cloud kinda made up for it.

I really need to get back into the game.

I'd really like to see that.

Or I could just head up the next SSB game. That's always an option.

I think Villager should've been either Ness or Lucas...is more fitting.

Kinda weird choices. I'd have gone with Ness/Lucas for Guldo (short, psychic powers), Bowser for Recoome (wrestling moves, breath attack), Sonic for Burter (gotta go fast), Mario for Jeice (skilled fighter with a fireball-like move), and... Captain Falcon's fine as Ginyu, I guess. We don't exactly have a fighter who steals their opponents' bodies, and his only other notable trait is being an all-around good fighter.

Kirby copies abilities, that's the closest we've got =p

Can't really complain with the character choices other than Villager almost clashes with the art style of the other 4 "ginyu" members

Update on the VGC Bootcamp thing: Some gods of tech were able to make some some scripts to help auto change a huuuuuge chunk of the videos tainted on their channel. Descriptions are still bunked, but those are a work in progress.

Wii Fit's voice changes based on the region, so there's two different English voices.

Reminds me of this one match where I defeated a CPU Bowser only by using a Home Run Bat.

The AI is really dumb about bats. Even level 9 CPU's will let you hit them with the swing.

I've had matches against 3 level 9's where I wind up getting 7 out of 9 kills just with a Home Run Bat that spawned early on.

They're also really stupid about "grab" Final Smashes such as Ike's, Cloud's, Robin's, Greninja's, ect. They'll try to attack your victim and get caught in the crossfire, often being KO'd just the same by the ending smash.

I actually have a hard time pulling those Final Smashes against human players. (Or really any Final Smash that requires you to be close to your opponent) Like in Brawl, my friend airdodged when I would try to hit him with Critical Hit.

However, my friends have trouble against Super Sonic or Landmaster.

It's about timing. Goad them into dodging and then hit them during that brief end lag where they can't dodge or roll again just yet.

Ah. So, I need to figure out how to make them dodge and have quicker reflexes.

Anything is good. There's no lag between anything you do and the Final Smash, so it's all about making them vulnerable.

Another weird AI thing is Air Dodging... for the entirety of their time in the air... for no actual reason.

Is mod talk allowed? Because my Corrin is now uncensored (she has her design from Fates) and she has an Elise skin!

Have you seen this shameless "Smash" ripoff? I say "Smash" instead of Smash because it isn't even in the right genre.
