Super Smash Bros.

So I fought this Kirby in For Fun 3DS today. We were on the Paper Mario map and he kept doing that thing where you duck up and down.

I carve his ass up with Lucina's Dancing Blade and as soon as he gets a hammer or a bat or some kind of battering weapon he comes after me and tries his damnedest to hit me, despite the fact that I kept countering or rolling out of the way.

Long story short, I kicked his ass and took the win. I bet he reported me too.

They probably expect you to join the crouching or taunt.

But the moment you taunt they will probably dash grab you.

The thing is, almost every person I fight does it and it is so annoying.

When I win, I bet everyone reports me for not joining in the crap-fests they start.

God it's so stupid.

You can't taunt more than Twice + plus the amount of times you KO someone...so that's pointless.

Look at it from their perspective. They see you as a "Stop Having Fun" Guy.

You can't do dat, everyone gets to play by their own rules.

I remember the first time I came across one of these goof-off matches. I was playing with Lucas against people using Rosalina, Peach, and (if I remember correctly) Sheik. The three of them were either taunting, using random attacks and basically just messing around instead of fighting each other. I went in expecting to fight like all the other matches, so I didn't understand when all three of them teamed up to kick my ass whenever I actually tried fighting with one of them. Once I caught on to what they were doing though, I stopped and just let them throw projectiles into my PSI Magnet. Fortunately, they didn't report me for not initially playing by "the rules" of this goof-off match.

I would have match rather actually played a match, but there was something weirdly fun about just messing around with each other.

I've been in a few "matches" like that. I really don't get it at all. I could understand goofing around with your friends like that, but in matches against strangers, being offended that your opponents expect an actual Super Smash Bros. match when they play Super Smash Bros. is completely unreasonable.

Oh, my friend will taunt after I taunt....and I'll run up to him and attack while he is taunting.

I do need to employ more defensive strategies when I'm fighting him when I'm not Bayonetta.

unfortunately i shot through the ledge as well and ate shit and then the next stock pikachu did NOT like that and i received Death By Mouse Dick

I don't think it does? I just checked a bunch of pages with my adblocker off and there were no ads at all.

danbooru had a significant overhaul that, stunningly, included the removal of ads. You still can't post porn on TVT, obviously, but linking a clean danbooru-hosted image is kosher.

That's why I always use Safebooru instead. Doesn't always have everything danbooru has, but it is MUCH safer.

Literally just went on a 15 win streak against a random user in 1 on 1.

I don't know if he was letting me win or what but he would just stand there as Marth and not hit back or dodge or anything.

Then again, I destroyed him with Lucina in the first match when he tried to fight and he wasn't very good. He countered way too much to the point where I could expect it and only used the first two hits of Dancing Blade for some reason so maybe he just gave up?

Any reasons?

Maybe he was reporting me every time I won but that's too ridiculous to believe, right?

On the plus side, my new record is much better. Now it is 55 wins and 58 losses.

Okay, so, hypothetical scenario.

Nintendo Ninjas break into your house, grab you by the collar, and take you all the way to Nintendo HQ, where you're slammed down into a chair and told to pick music to put into the next Smash Bros. game because Sakurai has temporarily gone deaf from *laughs*ing too much.

You can use any song from any Nintendo game up to this present time, and any songs from the third-parties already represented in Smash Bros. (Metal Gear, Sonic the Hedgehog, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Final Fantasy, and Bayonetta). You can import the song in as-is, or expect a remix of it. You can pick songs that are already part of a medley, as well, like the SMB 3 Hammer Bros. theme or Wily Castle Stage.

What songs do you pick?

I'm amassing a list, see. I've already got a bunch, but I'd like more ideas.

First of all how do you go deaf from your own laugh?

As for myself I would love to see The Ultimate Show from Super Paper Mario, the vocal versions of the Bayonetta songs, the Frontier Brain theme from Pokémon D/P/Pt and probably a lot of others that I can't think of right now.

This song, imported in its original state, since you can't improve on perfection.
