Wii U's Classic is pretty bad and just plain unfun because of how it's laid out. 3DS's version was way better and closer to the original version.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I much less like the 3DS classic. I hate accidentally going into a team battle, as the 3DS teammate AI seems to be dead set on dying as fast as possible.
I have a message from another time...Nairo seems like a pretty chill dude. Especially from what I've seen of his streams. Apparently, he wasn't always like that.
The fact that you're saying all competitive players are jerks just goes to show how little you actually pay attention to them.
I kinda like the Wii U Classic Mode, if only because it feels so good to win against such unfair odds. Especially if you manage to complete that one challenge. You know, that stupidly hard one where you have to complete it at the highest difficulty without dying.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardI don't like Wii U's classic mode at all. Too many 8-player smashes, CPU's with custom moves, and too much randomness in who and where you fight.
Melee and Brawl's semi-random-but-still-predictable Classic was better. It could stand to be a bit shorter to compensate for having more characters, though.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! My big problem with the WiiU classic mode is that it seems nearly impossible to get the bonuses from marked opponents in many cases, because they'll get knocked out in free-for-alls before you get a chance (or someone will pull a Kill Steal). You're good if you're in a one-on-one battle, but other than that? Crapshoot.
Oh, I hate the "new challenger" mechanic. Look, if my foe is random, let them all be random. Don't give me the illusion of picking my foe, then replace them at the last second. If you want me to fight Metal R.O.B., just make him the only option.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.x4: I never said "all". I specifically have Mew2King, Hungrybox, ZeRo, Leffen, Mango, and Omni in mind.

I don't come to this thread to hear you complain about people you've never met.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? You're the one who dragged the topic into the specifics. I was just making a one-off mention.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerI once lost a Classic run because my opponents were replaced with a team of two Giants, and my "ally" got themself killed immediately without ever hurting them.
I actually almost won, but the last of them got the Dragoon and picked me off.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Apparently being a top player of Smash is like being a celebrity, you do something mean once or twice and you're suddenly the worst person for life.

Like, I guess I can give you the top melee players? maybe? But the top Sm4sh players are all really chill.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeMaybe you should settle it...
IN SMMMMASH!
How come we never settle discussions that way...
because then i'd win all of the arguments. even ones i'm not involved in.
Even if it is true they "aren't nice people", encouraging that sort of mindset doesn't help the community/metagame be any less toxic.
I almost forgot about that bit of the commercials. I wonder how often people actually DO "settle it in Smash"

What I've seen of Omni seems to be that he just likes to joke around and generally be a harmless troll.
Some of the videos of him I watched were pretty damn funny actually. I also like his Play of the Week videos.
Settling it in Smash is probably only good for people in near equal skill.
Otherwise the weak party would probably be unwilling to be beaten into compliance. ;p
The only top Melee players I've heard were douchey are H Box and Leffen. Mango acts like a douchebag but he's just kidding around half the time, and all the Smash 4 top players seem to be nice guys.
Were we talking about Classic Mode U? I just don't like how you never fight characters on their home stages, myself. Makes having a Wii Fit stage seem kinda silly if it's gonna go mostly unused~
...I didn't want my two cents to go ungiven, darn you all.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaI think Melee did Classic best of all the games.
And yes, I don't think all competitive players are assholes. You can have casual players be assholes (like that one classmate of mine who keeps demanding to put all items on, or really anyone who doesn't go with what the group wants, like I was when Sm4sh first came out). I think that's the Casual Competitve Conflict thing we are talking about and it bugs me when it exists because Competitive players are unfairly stereotyped as "Stop Having Fun" Guys.
Weird how this tends to not show up as often in fangames, but they attract a smaller audience in general (unless it's Project M we're talking about here).
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Project M has a very vocal Hatedom, mind you. I've seen quite a few who consider it outright desecration of what they enjoy.
This thread included.

I did say that some of this math may be inaccurate, but it was calculated as 12 moves because we considered the default move with the other custom moves. 3 customs per 1 B special x 4 B specials equals to the 12 we had here. We also didn't consider the DLC characters because they don't have any customs, just their defaults and calculating them would make the end result even larger (assuming we did it right).
Your works are one trope short.
