I would totally play as Scarf Link and Armor Zelda.
Especially if they fold some of her cool rapier moves into her moveset. A Trifloorce down smash is a cool pipe dream.
I have a message from another time...I mean, most of Ganondorf's moves are him using magic to augment his punches and kicks, but that's a bit lame.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.x3 I honestly doubt even with Mario's mobility it would be more useful than the Luigi Cyclone so I'd prefer something different with some nice gimping abilities.

Even if Zelda's attacks mostly retained their current characteristics, the added range from a Rapier would make her a fair bit better.
I sure said that!Scarf Link would fit in, no prob. Zelda... might get her appearance tweaked.
Given that the mobility buff was given to Luigi Cyclone instead of Mario Tornado, this is unlikely, especially given that it's far easier to rise with Mario Tornado than Luigi Cyclone (but Luigi Cyclone in turn has the potential to rise further up than Mario Tornado). Mario Tornado in Brawl would likely be equal to Dr. Tornado in Smash 4, packing low mobility but being easier to rise with (and pull opponents into it), with Luigi Cyclone being harder to rise with (and pull opponents into it), but packing way more mobility as well as potential, both in how much you can rise with it and how much damage it could potentially do.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Man wherever I look there's always some Marth vs Roy discussion happening in the Sm4sh fandom.
At least they get debates. I wonder how many people have even thought about Lucina since Roy came out.
I have a message from another time...To be honest there's still plenty of Marth vs Lucina going around too, though Marth usually wins.
Yeah, I've seen that Reddit aside, not everyone is convinced that Marth is shit nor that Roy is better than the rest of the FE's.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.The common opinion is pretty much that Marth is a better character than Lucina due to design choices (Lucina being easy modo Marth, has worse range, worse comboability/kill power, etc.) so Lucina should only be picked if she appeals to you.
Doubly so now that Roy is a thing.
Fantastic Supreme Überkaiser Emperor Folt of The Infinity and Beyond" ... "The First"!Yeah, Lucina becomes virtually obsolete at higher-level play, just like Roy in Melee. It's unfortunate.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Lucina is a bonus character pretty much, so yeah, she doesn't really have a niche, specially with Roy.
Marth is in need of a buff. And lol Reddit's hivemind being an authority.

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Funny that Lucina and Roy are my best FE characters to use.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!People still haven't realized Marth is really good now?
Considering how much back-and-forth over how good certain characters are has been happening since this game came out? No they don't, and it may never truly end.
Truly, the only thing we know for real is that is that Rosalina and Sheik are ridiculous.
EDIT: Joke failed because I don't know how to slash.

I find Rosalina's issue is that she's a fully-functional fighter on her own, so with Luma she's operating at essentially 175% of standard capacity and only drops to 100% without it.
I sure said that! The Smash fandom has this problem that once they find something bad, no matter what happens they will still think it's trash. Some characters managed to break through like Jigglypuff in Melee though. DK and MK are getting popular in Sm4sh now too.
Still there's still people who think Greninja, Marth, Ike, etc are bad because they either started out bad or in the former's case got nerfs that got really overblown.
I'm still amazed that Rosalina consistently ranked so high, yet I barely see anyone use her. She's not even that hard to use. Maybe at max efficiency, but even without knowing how to use Luma you can easily use it as a meatshield/extra range on attacks.
I imagine that she's not seen often because she's got the perceptional double whammy of being top-tier and "boring to fight against/watch", unlike Sheik, who really only has to worry about the former trait for the most part. Personally, I've only gone online with Rosaluma a couple of times, but never finished any matches thanks to people rage-quitting on me during those attempts.

Some characters really only have one top player carrying them. Rosalina has Dabuz, Pikachu has ESAM, Mario has Ally, etc. So a lot of the fame of those characters come from the players playing them.
After all for the purposes of making a tier list, results are probably among the most important parts.
I think it's a testament to how closely balanced the game is (Sheik notwithstanding) that even almost a year after release there are still huge divides in perceived viability.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Well it says something that I only really think about 12 characters in this game can be considered bad and even then I have doubts on some of them.
Hyrule Warriors is quite good for Smash appareances, as it aims for a generalized version of the characters, rather than specific incarnations. Although not sure about how well Scarf Link and Odd Skirt Zelda would sit with Smash.
And I assume the Mario Tornado would have gotten a movility buff if Mario had it, as Doc has a quite noticeable lack of movility.
