Yet I can't use him to save my life!
When it comes to Pokemon characters in the game, I'm sticking to Charizard and Lucario until Mewtwo arrives,
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Greninja is a bit of an odd-ball in this game. He's the most mobile character in the game overall, but unlike say, Sheik, he's not a speedster made to get in the opponent's face and pressure them until they leave themselves open for punishment, he instead plays a bait-and-punish game where he waits for the opponent to mess up and then punish them hard because thanks to how mobile he is and how much range and power he has in his moves, an opponent can really struggle to get Greninja off them once they get into a bad position.
I do understand the nerfs Greninja got in the 1.0.4 patch because he was meant to play like this, but the developers gave him too much safety with his moves such as Up-Smash, Hydro Pump and Water Shuriken, so they toned it down so Greninja would play the way he was meant to. Sakurai said it himself that Greninja was a Difficult, but Awesome kind of character and it really shows now. Greninja gets little in the way of representation just because he's not a character you can easily pick up and play without investing some time learning his tricks. He requires some creativity, precision and a sharp mind in order to function and those are things I still struggle to do well with.
On the other hand I find that once you get the hang of the frog, he's probably the most fun character to play with and he has such weird quirks attached to him (Hydro Pump gimps, everything about Shadow Sneak, the way Substitute works, his d-air stomp, low profile despite having a large body [His model would actually be taller than Rosalina's if he were standing upright]), very low crouching that just make him feel very unique compared to the other characters which I really appreciate.
I actually enjoy playing Greninja every now and then. And I actually learned how to use his neutral air from watching you. It took me awhile to get it right though.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardSo I got the Daisy trophy.
While one can see the cosmos under Rosie's dress, all there is under Daisy's, delicious legs aside, is just a black void. Not sure whether this is a good thing or not. But hey, it beats having a third eye on the back of your head!

When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your grief...
No it doesn't.
It concerns me that the first thing you did upon getting her trophy was flip it to look under her dress.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That's admittedly a thing I do with one of Peach's trophies in Melee...
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! No, no, I rotated it a few times, to get a good look at the face.
...THEN I looked at the underside. To be honest, I never looked at the bottom side of the Peach or Zelda trophies.
When you wish upon a side of beef, soon will come an end to all your griefYou expected to find something under there?
If someone did put something there, Sakurai would have to be drunk in order to let that fly.

I was looking at the bottom of everyone's shoes in the 3DS version (don't ask, it's Megaman's fault) and quite a few of the dresses aren't filled with a void. I was in school when I found this out.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardWhat do you mean by "aren't filled with a void"?

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Welp, Diddy is S again.
Is this a Jo Jo reference? This ain't a good game for honest, hardworking swordfighters.
Even Shulk is D Tier
Is this a Jo Jo reference?I hate how Peach is higher tier than most of the characters I actually use,
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life! That list assumes customs off by the way.
Also I guess bottom tier is Fire Emblem tier according to Japan.
@void: I meant they aren't censored with darkness.
Call me butter, because I am on a roll! 3ds friend code: 5258-0885-3903 Wii U: Bowser CharizardThat has to be one of the worst tier lists I've ever seen.
I'm the guy who knows how to make games but doesn't. 3DS FC: 2878-9776-7579I honestly don't get why people are hyping Villager so much. He's annoying but I never though of him as that good.
Villager is great. He has arguably the best recovery move in the game, fantastic and very versatile aerials and some of the best offstage/edgeguarding potential of any character. Also, Pocket is an absurdly good Neutral B.
Villager's recovery actually leaves them pretty vulnerable despite how deep he can go with it. Their aerials are good, true, but Pocket is only relevant against characters with strong projectiles like Lucario. I don't see Pocket being very useful against Greninja's uncharged shuriken pokes or Fox's lasers.
Villager also doesn't have much in the way of dealing with rushdown since their close range options are very underwhelming, so any character that gets close to them is likely going to give him hell without them being able to do much about it.
They're good but I wouldn't say A tier like a lot of people place them.
That's the first time in a while that I've seen T.Link get placed above Link.
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI dunno. They have plenty of fast, high priority moves which can get attackers out of their face, including forward tilt, jab and neutral aerial. It only takes one hit from one of these to get a character far enough away to start throwing out forward aerials and Lloid Rockets again to keep them at bay.
Also, I disagree that Pocket is only relevant against projectile heavy characters. Pocket has a very long invincibility period, so it's an excellent way to get back to the stage safely if threatened from below.
I have to be elsewhere, so continue this later maybe?

Greninja seems to have quite a bit more killing power than you'd expect though.
But let's not tell anyone, or he might get nerfed again.
