I had an epic moment with Lucina against my friend and my Kirby and Fox Amiibos:

Myself, the friend as Little Mac, and Kirby (IIRC) were on one life. I get the Smash Ball, and use Lucina's Critical Hit. I get both Kirby and Mac at the same time, basically getting a Double KO.

So, excellent news everyone! After the tragic loss of my old 3DS Smash in December, I have claimed a new one for my birthday! And a New 3DS! And a Megaman Amiibo!

Although the Amiibo named Jmpnshtman is now wiping he floor with my face, I want to start challenging people againa nd unlocking customs all over again! Hope you guys are ready!

Well that's the good thing about this game - the only consistent thing about tier lists right now is a monkey and three ladies in blue are up top - and even then one tournament goer thinks Diddy's only top because the metagame hasn't been learnt out yet.

(His infamous combo-ing ability will start to break once you properly understand how the games DI works, apparently.)

How does DI supposedly work, anyway?

The way I heard it, is that you hold the D-stick perpendicular to the direction you're launched. I still need to perfect it myself.

Yeah, can be quite useful for survival, if your DI it towards the stage's edge. Although poor fellow who accidentally DI'd into the wall..

Again, Wectoring. It would've been cool if they had left that in, to see how the metagame evolved with Wario's crazy physics.

It didn't really add anything besides making Wario way more durable than he needed to be. It was amusing to watch but didn't make the game better.

So, today I learned that Villager's best shot at clearing All-Star on Hard is exactly the tactic you'd expect from him:

Plant a tree, water it, then ignore it in favor of chasing the enemies around swinging the axe like a psychopath.

Someone 3 stocked me with Sonic earlier today and then then just now I went against them again and they had this to say when he recognized me

"You are the one with the scary Ninja, lol"

... I don't see how being destroyed without even managing to take out one of your lives makes my Greninja scary to fight. But okay.

Well, Greninja is pretty spooky looking.

Spooky scary ninja frogs send shivers down your spine.

Speaking of Greninja, here's something I found that you might try on For Glory:

D-Air, D-Air, Fast-fall, Substitute. After the second hit, your opponent's position will have shifted too much to land a third Dair, so fast falling will make it look like a third strike, when you are actually preparing for a counter.

This is all in theory, so I haven't tested it yet. And I agree, Greninja is a lot of fun to play with.

Does Greninja have a disco costume? If not, he totally should, so I can make Hiimdaisy jokes.

I don't think that's going to work because that's assuming the opponent will far for it, even if it does work it probably will only work once.
