you are missing the point of the point isn't to replace the move for the sake of replacing it. We want to get the Lord of darkness to start swinging his sword around.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I'm well aware.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!ok it seamed like you were not ok. Sorry.
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. It should be noted that Ganondorf isn't defined solely by his swordsmanship. He's a dark wizard. Ganon(dorf) was using magic long before he was shown wielding a sword as either Ganondorf or Ganon. If we're going to mostly/fully declone him so he can stand out on his own and stop shamelessly copying Falcon, I'd say take elements from both his swordplay and sorcery. A lot of characters here incorporate bits and pieces of the sum total of their appearances throughout their respective series, so why not Ganondorf?
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadI did design a Sword/Magic focused moveset for Gannondorf a while back.
You are not alone, and you are not strange. You are you, and everyone has damage. Be the better person.Yeah, if we give Ganondorf a sword in exchange for his magic, rather than mixing the two, all that's going to happen is he'll be an Ike clone instead.
I've been thinking of a variation of the tennis ball attack. What if it fired a slow-moving projectile and, as long as it's out, his B move becomes a moderately powerful punch that can reflect projectiles?
Ganondorf swatted back his own projectiles pretty quickly in OoT, so the secondary move you're talking about should be fairly quick by comparison to the rest of his moveset.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadThat was actually part of my idea. His basic B was a chargeable energy ball that opponents could knock back at him, but while it was on the field his basic B would be a quick swat that doesn't really hit opponents but reflects the energy ball very quickly, allowing for boss tennis.
Charging up the initial ball enough makes it home in on enemy and Ganon alike, and just in case you don't want to play tennis charging it all the way makes it that burst of snaking bolts that (in this case) can't be reflected.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Keep the Flame Choke, and I'm sold.
There's undoubtedly going to be a Gen V Pokemon in there. Zoroark or Genesect? And who here would like to see Mewtwo back? Psystrike is just BEGGING for a Final Smash!
I sure said that!Yay for Mewtwo
I would not like Genesect maybe Zoroark
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill.I would like Mewtwo (and Roy, for that matter) back.
And it would almost certainly be Zoroark. Especially now that B2/W2 seems to be actively pitting it as a counterpart to Lucario (early images imply that they're version exclusive counterparts).
I really doubt Mewtwo's coming back. I don't mind Mewtwo one way or the another, but it seems like Pikachu and Jigglypuff are the only constants for their series. Mewtwo was rotated out for Lucario, and Pichu just fell off the face of the earth (or, as some theorized, evolved into Pikachu, thus explaining Volt Tackle, and replaced the original Pikachu). And I get the feeling they'd include Zoroark over Dennis simply because it's a blatant expy of Lucario designed intentionally to crib off of Lucario's appearance and garner the same kind of popularity.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadBut that's the thing- It didn't. I wouldn't be shocked if either of them showed up, at any rate.
And please tell me you're not one of those "Lucario and Mewtwo play exactly the same" people, X2X! I beg of you!
I sure said that!Don't assume that the internet is the final word on Pokemon popularity. Most people on the internet hate Pikachu, but in a recent poll to decide which version mascot would get distributed in Japan for the series' 15th anniversary, it came in second. People on the internet may not like Zoroark, but that doesn't mean it isn't popular.
No, I'm not. I just find the chances of it happening unlikely (and yes, I'm aware of Mewtwo's data being Dummied Out on Brawl's disk along with Roy and other characters). Aside of the original 12 and certain exceptions, such as the main characters/original leads of certain series (i.e. Marth, Zelda, etc.), SSB seems more likely to include a new Gen V mon than they would be to pluck Mewtwo from all the way back in Gen I after he skipped out on Brawl.
Of course internet popularity wouldn't deter Pikachu from ranking high: it's the mascot of the franchise and one of the leads of the anime.
And Zoroark, from what I've seen, is more along the lines of a Base Breaker. Some fans like it and others hate it for mostly the same reasons I listed above.

"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The MadIf Mewtwo doesn't come back (as seems likely), I hope that if there's a new psychic character (probably a Mother rep) they'll use items the same way he did. The telekinesis was kind of awesome.
I'll admit, that was pretty awesome to look at.
"Oh no, Sanji's Chronic Simprosis!" - Kou The Madas unlikely as it may be I'm, hoping they bring in a representative of each generation. Heracross Gardevoir Zoroark
With the power of a dragon I can make up for my inability to spill. Not sure if this matters but, on Japanese boards Mewtwo, Roy, and Waluigi are the most requested characters.

Mewtwo was the only totally original character to get dropped from Melee to Brawl, so that makes sense. And Waluigi's become a bit of an Ensemble Dark Horse in recent times* Roy was... In Melee, but otherwise isn't all that notable.
I sure said that!People have been requesting Waluigi and Daisy in more and more things as time goes on. They're both the Ensemble Darkhorses of the spinoffs (Daisy was in Super Mario Land, but she wasn't really given any characterization until the spinoff games).
I think It's only a matter of time before fan demand gets them in a regular Mario game. I'd personally love to see a Mario platformer where Wario is a villain again, with Waluigi as his sidekick.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Or a Wario Land game with the two costarring. Seriously, I'd love to see a cartoon violence centric Puzzle Platformer -type game revolving around one abusing the other on the way to massive piles of riches. Or even just a microgame set in WarioWare.

I sure said that!
I'm not too bothered by Ganny's down-b. It's a clone of the Falcon Kick, yes, but it's pretty useful on Ganondorf. Far more useful than the Warlock Punch, which I recommend become his energy Tennis Balls of Doom. I was thinking his forward smash and down smash could have him using his sword though. Maybe his up smash too.
