Meh, I'm sticking to my multiple Alex regenerating from multiple part after the nuke theory.
Also, man did fight against Alex looked hard when Marc attempted it. No checkpoints, no heal, and HAXmmers? Mercer, you troll.
Makes me scared of actually reaching it.

Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.I prefer the theory that there's several "Mercer" running around too.
I just don't think Blacklight/Mercer would engage a gambit to kill himself when he's so close to succeeding. I mean, he would've released whitelight without any problem were it not of Heller. He was this close to succeeding, and then snapped and decided to force Heller to kill himself? Again, sounds clunky to me motivation-wise.
Yes, alright, putting my name in the hat for Multiple Alexes.
Plus the Alex fight is like nothing else Heller does. He blocks powers if he's already using them, he's got his own finishers, and always pulls you back if you go too far from him.
Evil...
No heal in the final battle? You get back up to full health between rounds, like the boss himself. But no, other than that, no healing. Well, presumably the regeneration mutations still work as well. But other than that, no healing
Can you jump in Prototype 2, without having to play 1?
If you wanna PM me, send it to my mrsunshinesprinkles account; this one is blorked. There's a recap movie in Prototype 2, I'm not too sure how good it is at getting one up to speed.
While I'm here I'll talk about the game's timespan, if there are 30 missions and each one takes about 2 or 3 hours, then the game takes place over 90 hours. Anyone have any qualms with this theory?

That seems...pretty long...
But why's the time so important?
I'm not seeing how it is, unless it is kinda important as a footnote. Like how it was in the original Prototype I mean.

It's one of those little things I tend to get fixated on, kinda like how shooting blood from four extremities can make a half-ton lump of biomass fly. (The MST3K Mantra really didn't stick to me).
Not on Insanity. The most I've seen Marc heal is about half life, and even then it was when he was lucky.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.No, the ability to jump in Prototype 2 is an Old Save Bonus. You can still scale buildings and glide by running off the ledge, but the only way to actually ''jump'' is if you've cleared the first one.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"I think you may be missing a pothole there
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoWhat sounds more fun, Heller in Liberty City or Niko Bellic in NYZ?
Heh...I've been thinking about putting these characters in different games. Liberty City is bigger but the enemies are way easier, and NYZ is small but its enemies are brutal.
And that's only a few. I've been thinking about Crackdown and inFamous and can't decide what's coolest...

I'd probably pay for a game where Cole fight Goliaths and Blackwatch. The fight against Brawlers might also be interesting.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.I'd take the guns, city and cars of GTA, the powers, enemies and military vehicles of Prototype, and maybe also the powers of inFamous as another character...
I've never played inFamous though I wanted to. He's just all electrical isn't he?
edited 13th May '12 1:52:16 PM by Keybreak
Mostly electrical, perhaps a sprinkling of telekinesis. In the second game you get the option of fusing his electrical powers with the power of either ice or fire.
Cooool. I still wish I had a PS 3. ;/ I love Elemental Powers.
What are the enemies like?
Can't remember all that well now. Mostly standard mooks with guns, with a mix of Elite Mooks, minibosses and bosses.
Heh, any match against Blackwatch, the supersoldiers, Brawlers, Juggernauts, and Goliaths?
Interesting question :P Probably quite evenly matched, I think. Both games have everything from standard gunmen to giant monsters. Probably Prototype's monsters have more raw power.
Yeah, they seem pretty even. I know the normal mooks are a fair match against Blackwatch.
The different superpowered mooks can take the Super Soldiers, Brawlers and Juggernaut.
And pretty much any bosses could take on the Goliaths. One of 'em wrecks a whole bridge just by passing on it.
Who's an angry moth? You are! Yes you are! You're the fuzziest and angriest moth! Original pic.Aw, poor Infected.
What about the Evolved? Could they take on Cole and whatever his superpowered ilk are called?
I use ilk neutrally cause I can't think of a better word.

Against some of the bosses, they definitively don't stand a chance. Against the Beast for instance. They pretty much needed to kill every single superpowered being to take him down. He also apparently can break the moon.
I'm pretty sure that, if the mooks aren't end game, or are not bosses, most Evolved would have the upperhand. Cole would probably beat them tho, since he has his force push, and most of them attack in CQ.
Man, I have flashbacks to the time inFAMOUS and Prototype came out. These kinds of questions were everywhere on message boards for these games.

Wah, I want a PS 3 just for inFamous now. X/
Makes sense to me.
I for one thinks it's likely.
