If by "season 2" you mean there's still the string of DLC, yes. Beowulf was just released, with Robo-Fortune out within the coming months.

Mike is tired of working 90 hours a week for peanuts and I'm sure the rest of the team is too. He said on Skullheart that after the Vita version gets released, he's done for a while. Maybe they'll finally do that Black Torch game Alex has been wanting to do.

Lab Zero's got a ton of other ideas for IPs that aren't related to Skullgirls in any way. You can just look at Alex's work on deviantArt for some examples. And after the nightmare that was having to deal with balancing I doubt Mike wants to do another fighting game.

It does make me worry about the budget, this can't be too cheap a thing to make. The voice packs are technically a small addon kinda thing, so I'm not too sure how they're doing this.
