What was Ginyu's trying to do anyway? Switch back with Bra? I mean, he couldn't have been trying to switch with Vegetto because the latter is in the wrong position....provided they have to be in front of him, which we should assume they do need to be.

Ginyu was trying to destroy the pod with a laser beam.

While Vegetto >>> Bra, this is still some impressive reactions. Neither of them however have any good endgame, unless Vegetto was saying truth about the soul destroying thing. And even then, he is going even further against the tournament, by permamently killing a member of another universe. That kiai bitchslap he did against Freeza and Cooler is certainly not going to help.

And for people wondering about Cold appearing in original form in Bardock's vision, this gives us a little more time for that to happen.

I wish we got back to some other things that are also going on right now, whether Old Kai will agree to make Ultimate Raditz, and the whole thing with Babidi (Cell, please don't get possesed). Still, can't wait for another panel.

Can't say that was a smart move for Ginyu. But I can't exactly call it dumb either. Man the result of this really can go either way.

Vegetto is probably bluffing, or else he would just kill both of them. Not only is Bra/Ginyu still in the tournament, but nobody knows if Shenron would ressurect in the proper body, so even if he does kill Bra/Ginyu and destroys his soul, who knows if bra comes back as a souless body ?

They could theoretically use two wishes and make 1: Bring back Bra's body and 2: Put Bra's soul in it.

Might be wasteful, but it's the only way to be sure. There's way too many unknowns about CHANGE! to be sure with one wish.

I don't know. We know Shenron can't effect someone stronger then him, so switching the souls back after they are dead may not be an option.

He can't affect things stronger than him without their consent. I'm sure Bra would be willing to go back to her body.

What about Ginyu?

I'm guessing he's gonna object, and at this point, he's probably much stronger then the Dragon no matter which body he's in.

Well, half of him remembers getting hit with that trick.

And he's painfully aware of what Ginyu could do if he stayed in Bra's body or even got his own.

Look what he did with King Cold's body. He's a very dangerous dude without a doubt.

Again, the Dragons have the ability to restore a body from nothing. Ginyu won't be in Bra's body if it's completely destroyed and a new one made.

Ginyu is still being an epic troll. Also, am I the only one who's concerned with Vegetto's "Against me, you can only obey" line? Because if that's not the first step down the path of darkness, I don't know what is.

Again with the weird confidence. Ginyu saw the match against Broly, so surely he must know that Vegetto is not a toy? Perhaps he (she? He seems pretty comfortable calling himself a "daughter", so maybe the pronoun is now "she") thinks that they'll be able to Change before Vegetto kills them?

I'm actually kinda excited now. This is perhaps the best thing the authors have done so far with this fanfic.

Vegetto also speaks in 3rd person now...that's cool.

Why do I get the feeling Vegito's attitude is going to make him susceptible to the Majin magic, and Ginyu uses that to Change with him?

I expected a fight a to happen. Now we get to see how Ginyu adjusts to a new body.

Well I sure as hell didn't expect Ginyu to be able to turn super saiyan so quickly. Then again...

Maybe years of careful body changing has taught him more about Ki control allowing him to use new bodies more efficiently, sometimes even better than the user? It's not a new concept either, since in Dragon Ball Super, Ginyu after body changing with Tagoma can actually draw out more power than Tagoma could. Anyway, guess we're about to have some action.

Babidi already said he's not attempting to take control of anything with even traces of Vegeta. You would expect U13 Vegeta to be more than evil enough, but Babidi just straight up rejects the idea.

The balls on Ginyu right now...

Oh yeah, that's right, he did say that.

Ginyu has guts the question now is will he bite off more then he can chew.

Someone also raised a good point in the comments.

Vegetto just teleported them both into outer space. Ginyu's mouth was open when they arrived so he... she didn't have time to catch her breath. And unless those weird dialogue bubbles are meant to represent "telapathy" rather than actual speech she and Vegetto have been yelling at each other. In fact, Ginyu even laughs at Vegetto's efforts right before getting smashed headfirst into the ground.

Narrative-wise, the answer is "no". If he fails now, this entire exercise would've been pointless. It's not quite You Can't Thwart Stage One, but pretty dang close to it.

Well, animals need oxygen to burn carbs for energy. Being super-awesome beings with ki, these two can probably burn ki with their minds instead.

As for the talking, no clue, Rule of Cool, Batman Can Breathe in Space, stuff like that.
