That and Saiyan transformations have been shown to be difficult to control sometimes. Gohan would be an example in regards to his super saiyan 2 transformation. Goku acted a bit different the first time also if I remember correctly.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaGotenks is a lot more irritable as an adult...jeez, that guy. Seeing Bulla be genuinely happy wasn't weird before, but it just seems weirder now.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.If I haven't said it before, I love this fanbase. I'm excited to be a part of it.

But no! It's not enough that bra needs to look good in every page it's that everybody else needs to look bad as well

"Vegetto's little girl is back to control, it seems."
"Yes...for now"
Yeah, no kidding; ten years later, she'll become the arrogant Jerkass we've come to know.
All in all, not a bad special; Bra was portrayed as not being a complete spoiled brat 24/7, Gohan got some well-deserved spotlight time and the art was quite good.
I do kind of wish they didn't have to riff on Gotenks in order to make Bra look good, though. Plus, even though it was a decent backstory, we all know that the lessons aren't going to take, so I can't say I'm feeling too invested here.
I think the lessons were self control not ensuring she is not arrogant or not a jerk. Considering she can control the super saiyan form and only goes out of control when she goes to the next level. I would call that success. She also does not seem to have any problems with Gohan currently so they seem to be on good terms.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaKinda like how Elder Kai is worried about their progress. Everyone else is thinking this is some huge success while perhaps the wisest character there is all "Okay, but is it gonna last?"

Well Cold, you put up a hell of a fight, but I guess the plot armor on Bra was too strong for you. I salute you.
And Goku is once more relegated to being Bra's hype man, being awestruck at all the assp— sorry, super cool moves she suddenly brought out. And no, it wasn't her techniques that carried her through this fight, it was those beans; without them, she would have lost, no two ways about it. But at least they give credit to Gotenks for giving them the idea to make up some new moves, though it still feels like an attempt to justify why she has them in first place when before she relied on brute force all the way.
But what is Buu planning, I wonder?

To absorb them obviously.
Interesting that this chapter is called drop the act.
Sounds like we might finally see Ginyu exposed.
Raichi is also prominently displayed on the cover. Who is he fighting again?
One Strip! One Strip! He's fighting Gast, and you have to remember Raichi has a lot of souls he can rely on right now. Possibly some unknown ones with incredible power due to what Zen Buu did the night before.
It's going to be an interesting fight. Maybe we'll even see Hatciyak.
It's funny because in this week Super episode, Black also used an energy scythe and clones in a fight. Though unlike Golden Ozaru this time they really though it out independently.
They also have an Evil Goku.
Just without the timey-wimey stuff and more like Sliders.
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Apparently all Buu did was recharge Raichi's ghosts. He may not have actually buffed him in any way.
Interesting that the cover shows Raichi with Bojack, Pan, and Cell jr. So does this mean he still has his ghosts from the guys who were revived?
#IceBearForPresidentWonder what Gast is gonna say to him.
After all, Gast knows a thing or two about having his people wiped out by monstrous aggressors.
One Strip! One Strip!^ If Raichi and Gast doesn't fist bump at some point I'm going to be sorely disappointed.

HAHAHA, NO WAY. THEY ACTUALLY DID IT, THE ABSOLUTE MADMEN!
I am procastrinating, but not excessively I think.Oh, that dumb theory.
From the comments: "It's not going to work. If it was, we'd have gotten "CHANGE NOW" as a full page spread. Instead, we're about to see it get interrupted as he goes "NOW.""
Yepper, this. Although a full page "NOWWWWWWWWWW" isn't out of the question. But the fight's over. Nothing to stop Vegeto or any observer from just one-shotting Coldyu. He's not a participant anymore. Not a chance it'll work.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Godammit. This is the twist I've been wanting for months. But it looks like it's gonna fail. All that waiting for what? Bra to coldclock Coldyu? Someone else to jump in now that the match is over? This could've made all the Bra wank bearable, but nope she ain't gonna get hit is she?
#IceBearForPresidentOf course she's going to get hit. Or at least, someone is going to get hit. There's still Bardock's vision and all. My guess is that Vegetto teleports in to take the hit, because unlike what someone suggested, he can't actually attack anyone from other universes without getting his disqualified. He may not be a participant any more, but he's still a part of his universe's group, even if only as a spectator.
I mean, just how pointless would it have been to keep Ginyu around just to have his big moment ruined by overpowered author pets? I highly doubt even the writers of this comic could be that tone deaf.
And yes, I totally approve of this twist. Oh god, please let him do the Ginyu Force dance.

I'm a bit conflicted with this; on the one hand, this is a twist I never really gave much credit to and having Ginyu steal Bra's body would go a long ways to make up for the senzu bean incident. On the other, I kind of feel bummed that the Cold who's been built up as an Adaptational Badass isn't really Cold at all.
But if Bra somehow manages to evade the body swap and gets away scott free, then I am going to be very unhappy.
I kinda like the idea that Ginyu managed to fool cold's family, but at the same time he runs the risk of interference because he just revealed his identity that he had kept well hidden and half dead now. It can certainly fail because it has and there is probably a few other weakness to the technique that can be taken advantage of if one does not just charge head first.
"When I offered to make Norea my third back-up girlfriend she just glared at me and started throwing things at me.." Renee CostaPfffffffffffffft.
Eh, I've seen others who disagree with Cold being this strong because the manga implicates Freeza as being stronger. I'm sort of okay with this. A roundabout way of going about it, but the wound is on the same side Ginyu's originally was and that makes me giggle.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!How does this work with the rules though? Technically speaking Bra won the match. Even if Ginyu steals her body I don't see how that prevents him from being disqualified. If he did this during the match and won that way then I could see a point to this.
I just noticed that although the 30 seconds are up they haven't declared Bra the winner yet. So it might still technically be going on.

Yeah, but those are techniques, which Saiyans apparently have an innate ability to master, judging by the fact that Vegeta apparently learned how to sense ki while he was unconscious. What Gohan taught Bra was temperament and personal control.
