To slap him in the face with I'd imagine.
One Strip! One Strip! He's close enough I'd say.
One Strip! One Strip!See this folks.
This is Master Roshi.
Not just some stupid pervert, but a master of the martial arts. It'd be nice if the actual series remembered that.
But then again, his first appearance in Super has him telling Chi-Chi to use the money they got for Porn, so I suppose that's not possible.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah.
Honestly, I do wish we could be learning a little bit more about this universe during this time, but this has still been probably one of the best specials, especially because of something like this.
Well, he helped kick Frieza's army's collective asses, so I don't think his role as a master hasn't been completely forgotten.
It's been 3000 years…He was more important than Yamcha in that battle (though I've never seen it).
Kinda sad, since I was under the impression Yamcha surpassed him, but I guess Butt-Monkey gonna Butt-Monkey.
One Strip! One Strip!Master Roshi can still fight, but he was quickly outpaced by Z villains. Like pretty much everybody else that doesn't have Saiyan blood. I can't wait to watch ROF to see him back in action.
Roshi was quickly outpaced by pre Z villains.
Well Yamcha doesn't appear so yeah Roshi does contribute more there.
Yamcha definitely surpassed him - bloody everyone did - but strength was not important in deciding who got to see action in RF.

Well yeah. My guess is the writers realized that years of being a Memetic Loser had become so ingrained in Yamcha's character that seeing him actually defeating any enemies would have broken their Willing Suspension of Disbelief.
One Strip! One Strip! The fight scene was really shallow pandering. They're going to pick characters who have the most fans to pander to.
Yamcha is treated like a joke, while Roshi is really popular. You can see how his inclusion in the fighting raised a lot of interest.
Sounds about right.
Truthfully, I'm not even sure why they bother including Yamcha in anything.
He's just become a waste really.
One Strip! One Strip!Roshi at least has mentor cred in Z. Yamcha got his ass kicked by every villain he faced. I honestly can't remember a single crowning moment of awesome for him. Almost everybody else got their time to shine. Even Krillin got the upperhand on Freeza and Vegeta a couple times. Tien was able to hold off Cell. Yamcha just kept getting one hit KO'd. And on top of that, he loses his girl.

I wouldn't count what the others do as a crowning moment of awesome because that is overused to the point of losing meaning, but it's true Yamcha never had a moment that wasn't followed up by being worfed.
Yamcha's greatest achievements were in dragonball. He figured out how to subdue oozaru Goku and later he defeated the invisible man (though he needed help there).

"No copyright law in the universe is going to stop me!" ~ Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic ColoursOh man. They really don't understand what he is.
One Strip! One Strip!Chiaotzu didn't have a moment either. All he did in Z was try to blow Nappa up, and it didn't work.
It's been 3000 years…Yes, but people don't care about Chiaotzu.
Meanwhile, they take twisted glee in going after Yamcha.

One Strip! One Strip!Chiaotzu wasn't really a Z Fighter. I think the Saiyan saga was the only time he tried to be useful in any way.
Well, that didn't work out for him.
At least he actually took a shot at Nappa, unlike that damned stupid bandit though.
One Strip! One Strip!Still better than the way Yamcha died.
...Why is he still holding that tail?
